See subject. I'm looking to DIGITALLY buy Ys-based music, preferred not from iTunes. I want MP3s.
As much fun as disks are to have, most of the time when I buy them they don't last very long at all.
I just don't want to pay $20 an album, plus international shipping, for one, and for another, downloads are best for me.

iTunes lets you export to MP3s these days, you know... It just puts them in an odd location.

That was more of a pain to find out than it should've been. Driven only by the fact that I did this a year ago, here's how to do it:
Edit->Preferences: Click on the Import Settings button. In that pop-up, select MP3 from the Import As drop-down. From there you can configure the bitrate as you like. Custom has support for VBR and such. Then in your library, select the songs you like, right click, and select "Create MP3 Version" The files then show up (stupidly) in My Documents/or/Library\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\<artist>\<album>
Or maybe just do a commandline recursive move or copy with wildcards to find all mp3s in your iTunes Media folder...
