Two days ago I tested a program I know from Skyrim, Fallout 3 etc., they have random crashes as well. Because of reaching the memory limit. The name is "Large Access Aware" and can be found here: www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112556It allows 32-bit applications to use more RAM. With LAA they can and will use 4GB on x64 and 3GB on x86 Windows. Without it Ys Origin only use 2GB at max on any Windows. Even if you have 1 Billion RAM. ^^ Some might already know it, but all you have to do: 1.) Download LAA (Large Access Aware), extract and run it. 2.) Drag and drop the "yso_win.exe" into LAA, check the box and press Save. And done. =) I post this thread, because I did not get a single crash after I applied this handy tool. For me it worked wonders in FO3, Skyrim etc. and maybe in Ys Origin too. I played for about 10 hours now, with LAA activated and no damn crash! Before I almost always got one crash every hour/session I played. Most of the time I stopped playing after a crash. I will test it till the end, maybe YsO will crash anyway, but for now it seem to fix the crashes for me so far. BTW, I'm using YsO 1.1.0.0 (physical, not from Steam, on Win7 x64), the newer Version 1.1.0.3 gives me more crashes and those crash error messages, that some file is missing or something like that. 1.1.0.0 just crashes to desktop and seem to be more stable than 1.1.0.3, even without LAA.
