As you know, I´m Spanish.
Falcom said they will bring Ys - Foliage Ocean in Celceta in EE.UU., but... Does it will be avaliabe in Europe?
If not, would I play with it, even if it´s in PAL? Or it will be avaliable in Playstation Network in Europe?

...when did they say that? I'm gonna need a source on that.
As for your matter, PS Vita has no region lock so if you import an American or Japanese version you should be able to play just fine. I think the only thing you'd be missing is trophies because your PSN account isn't from the game's region, this is of course if you buy a physical copy.
Whether a European release will ever happen is still a big mystery.

AFAIK, XSEED didn't announce they were bringing it to USA. Nor was there any European release announcement, I believe.
Let's hope the game gets localized.

------------- After the rain of money they made with Kiseki and they've been making with Ys since 87, I doubt we could still be saying that Falcom is a small company. It's more a matter of who's willing to localize such a niche obscure RPG game. Too much risk for any publisher.

Ah yeah, good point. I wonder if Vita has any piracy problems like the PSP had. I think that was a large part of the risk of localization.

The 'news' was Kondo saying it would be nice for overseas fans if they could enjoy the game. That's not the same as a localization announcement. It's probably going to happen (you know Wyrd will be pushing for it) but it hasn't happened yet.

Well, I´ll buy it in Japanese, then. I want to learn it since a long time ago, so this will be good, I think.

Si Falcom pone el juego para descargar desde la PSN y XSEED lo localiza, es bastante probable que también lo pongan para descargar tanto en la PSN americana como en la europea.

Leona was asking about Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta, not Ys Seven.

Leona was asking about Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta, not Ys Seven. I quoted that just for the "European fans?".

Hmmmm, now that the PSN-only possibility has been brought up, I'm far more confident XSEED will pick it up. It makes it viable for many niche titles to be released at least, as Wyrd had stated once. They are probably arguing among themselves whether to bring it only through PSN or both PSN and in a box.
I hope so, too.

I'm confident that XSEED will pick it up. PSN-only is a possibility, but I'm really hoping for boxed LE. I'm pretty sure that Steam releases of Ys Felghana and Origin has brought many new fans for the series and some may be fine with Vita-only Ys games too But we never know, let's hope for the best

The only problem with PSN-only is, I want that LE!!!!

Leona was asking about Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta, not Ys Seven. I quoted that just for the "European fans?". Ah, no worries! As for XSEED's plans, all we can do is speculate at this point. If I had to wager a guess, the US will get a physical copy -- LEs from XSEED seem to occur often, especially regarding niche titles like Ys, so perhaps this too will receive the LE treatment. (I still want Ys vs. SNK, dagnabbit!) As for EU, Matron is probably right -- PSN may be their weapon of choice. We'll see.

Ys vs. SNK might not get brought over mostly, I think, because Wyrdwad himself didn't like it much and thus is/was likely not pushing for it, sadly.
