Got this from Magicbox:
"Nihon Falcom announced that Eiyu Densetsu VI: Sora no Kiseki FC HD [The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky HD] will be coming to PS3 on Dec 13, for 3990 yen. The game is a HD remaster of the PSP version"
So, uh, holy shnikes! Maybe this means a better chance of getting the rest of the series out here, but now on a console!!!
Ys VII, the expected multiplatform game. Definitely coming to PS3 if it ever gets made.
Also, I don't think this does anything for XSEED's chances of bringing out more games. They've already got the ability to release The 3rd on PSN and the entire trilogy through Steam and SC for PSN will become reality within maybe a year. Adding a third console would take time and money and might not be worth the investment for the number of sales they would make. It certainly won't offer any needed solution to the SC problem since Falcom has already done that.
Oh, and as of right now there's no indication what if any added content there will be that would make the PS3 game worth purchasing to non-diehard fans who already have the PSP game and (let's assume) the PC game through Steam. I'm predicting the PS3 game will feature PC graphics and PSP content. That would make SC and 3rd instant buys for me but I'm not exactly the fan that XSEED needs to attract here and Falcom already knows they have my money. Now, if they could add some tangible extra content (like those dummied out Star Doors in The 3rd) that might help but I'm still not seeing this as a great prospect for XSEED. For the Japanese and Japanese-reading fanbase on the other hand, yeah, pretty nifty news.

One thing I'm wondering, is if this is a digital release, or a physical release? I assumed it was digital, but the more places I see talking about this, the more I think it's physical, esepcially after reading this at RPGamer.com
Customers will receive some bonus materials with TitS HD, however, including the game's full soundtrack, calendar wallpapers, and PS3 themes.
