Yeah, pretty much what the thread title says, confirmed in a press release sent out today. Due in Fall 2013 with a less difficult to pronounce subtitle. Thank you based Ys gods and all that jazz. Oh, and Ys I and II are coming to Steam, so there's that too.

Awesome! I bought the Ys 25th anniversary pack when it came out, but I wanted to wait to see if it would be translated before I played it. This is fantastic!
I also have a question. If I get Ys I & II Chronicles on steam, will I be able to change/switch the .OGG music like I could if I bought it normally on PC? I need to play Chronicles with the TG 16 music.

Sweet, now the question begs, will the Vita have a price drop &/or a new model by fall? I've been holding out, partially due to just trying to play thru my large PSP collection, partially due to just saving money, but also partially due to wanting to wait for the inevitable upgrade. I'd like one with an official TV out for starters.

Woohoo! Finally a reason to get a Vita! I'm wondering that too PD. I bought my PSP 1000 in preparation for the FFT rerelease, and then the 2000 came out shortly after. Going to hold out until Celceta comes out before picking up a Vita, just in case.

Sony has said that they wont drop the price, but with how poorly the Vita still sells... well they should!

My Vita has been collecting dust (only brushed off to play UC again when it was free for PS+) So psyched they've decided to localize this. Now I won't sell my Vita.

Me neither, but I'm going to get one just for it.

Me neither, but I'm going to get one just for it. Same boat. Though It'll be a while so I'll probably pick up the game before I have a vita.

Aww...Celceta got pushed back? ): Well at least I have it all paid for.
Regardless, I've got about $90 left to pay off for my Vita. Which I am buying pretty much for Ys. And for Trails 1.

I was hoping for a price drop &/or new model of Vita for this year. Since there were no announcements at E3, I may just pick up Ys 4, & wait until there is a price drop.....if I can hold on that long! I was going to give in, when Ys 4 was coming out in September, since I was going to have a small trip coming up, but, now it's November... You'd think they would've given the Vita a price drop, with all the emphasis Sony is putting on the Vita's connectivity for the PS4.

Just did some poking around and it seems the PS Vita just had a $50 price drop for both models, so yay for waiting! Doing some Googling I found rumors suggesting that Sony will be unveiling a new PS Vita model during TGS later this month, so I'll be curious to see what comes out of it.

Yeah, I'm waiting on TGS, hoping to hear about a new model. I don't want to leap into one right now, & then come a month later, a new model gets released!

The good news: My Silver Anniversary Edition package came today! The bad news: I still don't own a PS Vita! I kept hoping that Sony would announce and release the PCH-2000 model in the US for the holiday season, but that's looking less and less likely. So my options are to either wait until "sometime in 2014" for the new model, or pickup the current model and eventually replace it. Not liking my options...

I'd wait for the 2000, or get a Vita TV.

Turns out the Japanese Vita TV *cannot* play our release of the game, so I might suggest holding off on that...

On the plus side, the Silver Anniversary Edition package is awesome! The art/guide book was a pleasure to flip through (trying to avoid any spoilers for now), the cloth map is gorgeous, and I love the CD compilation! Wyrd was right, there were tracks on here I didn't previously own.

I'm glad I didn't buy one last night; I was really close. I decided I would wait and do some research today first. Is it because of the touch controls? So what to do now?
