The music plays once and stops until another song is cued or I reload the game. I saw someone else had this problem in the bug thread on the Steam forums, but apparently he couldn't fix it. I searched everywhere trying to find a solution to this, but no dice. Anyone else know how to fix it?

Use a hammer on your computer Okay, I'm not good with those things, but I would try to install it again. If you have downloaded it (and didn't buy at Steam), try download another version... o.o But well. I'm a noobie xD let's wait until someone more expert than me helps you =)

I got it from Steam. I tried something first, someone said that if you delete any of the files, Steam will re-download them. So I deleted the audio and it pulled them from the server, but it still didn't loop. Tried a full uninstall and reinstall and have the same issue. I think that mayyyyyyybe it has something to do with my audio drivers. I could be wrong. I'll see about updating them (though they should be the latest) and see how it goes.

Well, my game had a bug on Devil Corridor (Hugo path), and I installed an update to fix it. As far as I remember, they released 3 updates to fix problems of the game.
Have you tried any of them?

The updates should apply automatically through steam. Sorry I've never experienced this problem so I can't help. I did some googling and it seems this is a very isolated occurrence. ie. not very likely to ever get solved.

Yeah, the updates were already installed. Didn't seem to make a difference. Checked my audio drivers, which are controlled by my graphics card (I got the HDMI out to my monitor with built-in speakers) and that is updated regularly, so that's not it, either.

I eventually got this fixed. I did a fresh install of Windows 7 and Steam and didn't bother with this game for a looooooong time, then started playing it again and the music was working fine. Might have been an issue with Windows. Since then I've upgraded to Windows 10 TP and it's still working fine.
