Hi everyone! Well, I am here with the news that I finally beat Brandish: TDR last night, and man, what a beautiful game, I really enjoy it so much. The gameplay, the music, everything was so perfect! and something I really loved about this game was all those challenges, the puzzles, even the bosses are difficult the first time playing the game... The Planet Buster...the final boss, man I loved everything, to be honest I didn't like in the past Dungeon Crawlers but man, Brandish is perfect, I really liked the idea of having a limit to use a sword, items, etc. More challenge, and of course, the traps! There were times I didn't save a lot but then I fall in a trap or a monster apper and I was dead . But it was soooo freaking amazing! I have some questions regarding with the plot, the next Brandish games apper Ares or Dela? Are the games connected in plot? Dela want to kill Ares because he killed is master? Thanks for reading! -XbladeCK

Hi XbladeCK, Congratulations on finishing Brandish. Now you just need to beat EX Mode with Dela. In my humble opinion, I think it stands on it's own as a great add-on experience to the game. Think of it as "Good DLC" that you didn't have to pay extra for because it was already on the UMD disc / DL package. : ) Falcom should totally make a new Brandish game for the Vita and with Level/Scenario Packs as DLC. I'd buy them all and keep buying them for as long as they kept making them. I pretty much punched everything to death. Yes, all of the Brandish games are connected and Ares and Dela are in Brandish 2 and Brandish 3, however the 4th title in the series which was originally released on PC-98 as Brandish VT, and later updated and re-released on PC as Brandish 4, may only have loose connections to the Brandish world. It's currently undergoing a English translation by a member here named Gu4n, so perhaps he could shed more light on the actual connections and where this game fits in the Brandish timeline. Brandish 2 is fan-translated already for the Super Famicom version. And we are looking at possibly fan-translating the PC-98 Brandish 2 Renewal version one of these days as well since it is a superior experience over the SFC version and has a lot more areas/levels to explore. -Thomas

Hi SkyeWelse/Thomas! I will definitely play Dela Mode, that is the EX Mode you are saying right? The EX Ruins with Dela Something I forgot to say is that the quality of the game...to be honest I played a little of the game (SNES Version) and I am impressed how Falcom did this remake, is just amazing, and the possibility to change the version of the music (Dark Revenant and The Original) is just wow, I love that. Wow Ares and Dela are in Brandish 2 and 3? So Dela really want to kill Ares I think I will check those games definitely, this game was such an amazing experience and I need more Brandish Dela Mode...here I come! Thanks for the answers! -Victor
