GachiTora (PSP) Pretty fun game, great mix of Kenka Banchou 3 & 4 with some Ryu Ga Gotoku elements to make it seem like a GTO game. Nice.

Switching between Strider on PS4 and Apollo Justice on DS
going from twitch platforming to reasoning and dialogue makes for some hilariously inappropriate choices in my gameplay.

I haven't been consistent with any games lately, I just play them without finishing them. I decided to go digging for some good Super Mario hacks to play for the NES and Super Nintendo. I found one really good hack called SMW2+2 which is a Yoshi's Island hack, this game really does feel like something Nintendo would produce, great level design, balanced difficulty, fun platforming.
I found a lot of Mario hacks but most of them are plagued with one major flaw, difficulty. It's either difficulty or an unnecessary dramatic storyline, or both... or in-game music from non Mario games. I played this one Mario hack that looked awesome on Youtube, quickly deleted it after realizing the game was sadistically challenging, not fun, frustrating, realized this was the trend with pretty much every hack.
Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii & SMW2+2 are the only 2 Mario hacks I highly recommend. I went looking for Mario hacks after playing Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, I figured there were other talented, devoted individuals that could could have the potential to produce a Mario game better than Nintendo could.

Currently playing Deady Rooms of Death: The Second Sky, the latest official release of DROD. Fantastic puzzle game, with a nice chunk of new, innovative elements that really makes for some interesting interactions with the stuff that came before. Plot-wise, I'm a little disappointed so far, but mostly because it uses a common cliche to advance the story that hadn't been present before, but it at least makes way for a good puzzle element. If you're planning to play the game, I'll spoiler tag said element: time travel. Overall, a great addition to the DROD series, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it as a starting point for someone new to the series (not just for plot reasons, but also because the puzzles often make more use of monster manipulation, which tends to be tricky for these games - probably moreso to someone just starting out).

I guess I'm currently playing Final Fantasy XIV, trying that out for a months time. Other games I've been meaning to get to is Call of C'thulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth and Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. Played Mystara a lot on Arcade Emulator, but it'd be nice to finally play it without desynchronizing multiplayer and 'house rules'.
I should also play Metal Gear Rising: ReVengeance..
Buuuut then today I learned that people have -finally- fully translated Record of Lodoss War on the Snes. That sure took time!
Lots to play. Some to record. Motivation is low.

Now that Legionwood 2 is done, I started playing Skyborn today. I had it ready to go from the recent RPG Maker bundle, and I'm happy to say it is great so far! The game's developer Phil Hamilton is a musician and extremely talented. The music is awesome! If you missed Skyborn in the bundle and want to check it out, it's on sale now on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/278460/

Mainly Toriko Gourmet Survival 2 and Heroes VS'. Both have their quirks but due to not being able to find any good and inclusive guides for the finer details of the game I have already forced my self to start over to do them correctly. At least they are fun.

Been playing Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition on PS3. I've never played thru any of the Duke games, I'm enjoying it, but once I'm done with the extra levels(Life's a Beach, etc.), I'll be back to playing Steambot Chronicles. Want to get that game over with.

Playing Arc the Lad 2 on my Vita, & Metroid Prime 3. I'm not big on the MP series, being 1st person, but the atmosphere is right. MP3 so far seems like the low point of the series(I thought MP2 would be, due to some frustration with the dark world), but MP3 feels disjointed, since you visits planets, rather then one big world.
