I want to preorder this game from Falcom, and I've heard that the only viable option is via email. I'm concerned that putting my credit card number may be risky (I use hotmail.com btw). Is there any other means of ordering from them? If not, would the use of gmail be safer?

I admit that I have that same concern with emailing some person at Falcom.
I'm holding off until I can purchase it from some where like Himeya.com. I just feel better about doing it that way even if I have to wait a little longer or even pay a little bit more for it.

I just noticed on Falcom's webpage that you can also order by FAX.. maybe you can get the price quote via email and then fax in an order.
The worst thing about that is the fact you have to fax an international phone number.

Although the preorder goodies are really tempting...

Well, I finally caved in and preordered it...despite my previous worries.
I ordered it along with the Ys figurines, but they told me those were sold out. I got the final confirmation along with the order number. Are they flexible enough to modify my order to include other Ys merchandise? They won't ship until the 30th of June, so I'm wondering if it's possible for them to add the Ys figures when they get more in stock.
