Is there any official translation for these song titles? It would be nice if I could call them something besides track 01 etc.

Yes, well I did see the old thread before I started this one, but the reason I asked is because some of the track titles are translated on the album cover, and some of those titles don't match up with what Deuce posted there, and one disc doesnt even have the right number of tracks, thats why I threw "official" in there because apparently Duece's track listing was pre-emptive or done in haste.

Yeah I know what you mean. I thought of that, but I don't have the game installed anymore and I can't label them for you. Maybe someone else can do it?

Oh you meant the soundtrack CDs.... I thought you meant the game music files for some odd reason. Hehehe. My bad.

Yes, I did mean the cds from the perfect collection, and thanks to both of you for the help. Where did you get those translated titles from?

so which one would be more reliable? Did cocebiz just translate it themselves? I should have asked you Game Music Freak, this is your kind of thing.

The one at cocoebiz was no doubt done by them I think. They both are accurate, just a few word changes I guess, but I'm no expert. I like the one MP83 posted more. It has a more majestic sound to me. (The boy who had wings vs. The boy's got wings).

Thanks guys, this really helps, especially that link to Deuce's sight. I will go with duece's translations, although i must admit "Shock of the Death God" sounded pretty cool

Deuce's translation is definitely more accurate because he has a much more commanding use of the English language, rather than someone who's obviously using English as a second language like cocoebiz. I noticed the spelling errors at cocoebiz but the titles are basically the same. That's what I meant by accuracy. Sorry for turning it into a big confusing mess.

I recently got the "Crazy Deal from Falcom," which included the OiF 8 CD set. Most of the translated track listings are on Duece's sight. However, two are not (or at least I could not find them). Does anybody have an English (not Engrish) track listing for Best Selection of Ys III and Symphonic Poem - Wanderers from Ys?
