It could be the ending movie which is causing it to crash, which I think (I'm stepping way out of my sphere of knowledge here) might indicate a problem with a "codec" or some such magical computer object thing.
Someone who knows what they're talking about help me out here.
Hmm, now that you mention it, I can't find it in the folder either, but it certainly looked like an ending movie to me (I don't think it was just a game-engine cutscene). Maybe Falcom found some way to hide the file so that people wouldn't go off spoiling the ending for themselves?

The problem is the game's final "movie". Same applies for the intro movie.
I also had the problem. Actually I still have it, but there's a way to pass through it: you just have to put very low-quality settings for the game. That did the trick to me. Of course, after the movie you reajust the configurations as you wish.
