I ordered this game, along with Ys OIF. According to the Falcom site (and Gillian, from a previous post), it's supposed to include 2 music CDs - ED6 Super Arrange album and the Hoshi No Arika single. Well I got my order in a few days ago, and the ED6 box only contained the game DVD - no music CDs!! Has this happened to anyone? Were the music CDs supposed to come in a separate box? Is this a mistake on Falcom's part? If I write them, would they send me the missing CDs?

usually everything comes in the same box, i would recommend emailing them so you do not miss out. the only other thing i can think of is that was for preorder and the newer versions no longer come with the Cds. that is how Zwei!! was it used to come with the soundtrack and now it comes only with the super arranged cd, sometimes the newer versions are different.

Well, according to their current ED6 order page (http://www.falcom.co.jp/ed6/index_order.html), the game should still come with both music CDs.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I had to share the total bliss Eiyuu Densetsu 6 was. Took me 54 hours to finish, but I think most time was actually spent reading. To all those who don't understand Japanese, if the game ever gets translated , or you learn japanese, I recommend playing through it again. Some parts in the story are cliche, but the amount of foreshadowing is awesome. I really didn't see the last twist coming, and I'd be a sad panda if the sequel isn't out before 1 or 2 years, since cliffhanger feels inappropriate to describe the ending. (more like hugebottomlessholehanger) Not to mention the best character in the game has to be Olivier, who is a riot and really brightens up the game everytime he's involved. On the whole the game felt a bit too easy in the end. Joshua with the +CP gain/hit and +CP/turn accessories was a killing machine. I could get out like 3 S-crafts per fight in the last dungeon The hardest fight was definitely Laurence, but you could lose it and it didn't matter ^^; But the story was so great I couldn't stop playing the game for a few days >.>

Hey thanks for posting about the game, I don't know Japanese and it took me 90 hours to beat it. I loved everything about it as well. My favorite character was Agate, I just like the angry B.A. swordsman type characters. I too noticed how Joshua became amazingly strong towards the end. I also like Tita Russell, she was probably my second favorite character. Did you win all the arena battles? I managed to win them all and get the huge money award. The last arena battle kicked my butt for a while. I can't wait for the second chapter to hit.

Yeah I won all battles except for that Laurence fight in the castle. By the way for those that want I can write a summary of the ending if you can't read too much japanese.

And I can add it to my walkthrough if you want That would be awesome. I would like to know more about the ending if you and freakman would do that. By the way, the name Gillian Seed is very familiar to me, are you the one who wrote the Legend of Xanadu I writeup that helped me finish that game? If so thanks very much, I could not have finished that game otherwise.

I wrote a complete plot and ending summary and sent it to Gillian. I'll send it over to you so you don't have to wait for him to add it since he's pretty busy.

Yeah, it's kinda tempting me to buy it up. I'm not really all that interested because I can't read the story, but if there's a translation patch on the way then I might just pick it up anyways.
Peace Out Jest

It is indeed a great game. The gameplay is very fun, and while my Japanese could be a bit better, I find the story to be quite entertaining as well. The sad part is that the game is underappreciated because, unlike the Ys games, it is very unforgiving to people who can't read Japanese. I got the second chapter today, but haven't had a chance to play it. I expect it to be as good as, if not better than, the first chapter.
