Oops, I forgot all the extras. Added those now.
And yeah, they're dubbing this as their third new year offer. Think this'll probably be the last too. I'm tempted (lots of games there I haven't played, and I haven't got any of them) but alas I don't think I have the money. Oh well, few days to consider it.

For those who have attempted to order set #0802, please report to this thread if you have received a reply from Falcom.
EDIT: 48 hours later and no reply yet.
EDIT II: Got the reply, seems they don't reply on weekends.

Edit - Nevermind, I guess they just forgot to email me a confirmation email. Sent them an email tonight and (amazingly enough) got a reply in a few minutes with my EMS tracking number. Awesome!

Anyone else got their parcels?
I bought all three of the end-of-year special offers and they all arrived today. Pretty damn happy with this deal and fortunately Falcom didn't forget anything. It's a bit annoying though when the CDs/DVDs automatically dislodge itself from the case "teeth" while in transit. That happened to like, 5 of the games. However, none of them developed any scratches while bouncing around in there, which is good.
The only thing I'm missing is the Ys: Oath in Felghana "logo picture frame" thing. I got that the first time I bought Ys:OiF but I no longer have it.

Wow. I actually got mine in on the 25th, which was nothing short of amazing considering it shipped on the 23rd. What do you mean by logo picture frame thing?

EMS shipments also used to take only 2-3 days for me, but lately for some reason, they take longer. Too long, considering the cost. What do you mean by logo picture frame thing? The "logo picture frame" thing I speak of can be seen here.

Aww, that looks nice. Mine didn't have that in the package anywhere, unless it is somewhere hidden inside the felghana box. I did recieve a 2008 Sora no Kiseki calendar though, which was pretty nice of them.
BTW, what is that large box on top of your stack of CDs?

BTW, what is that large box on top of your stack of CDs? Looks like the Felghana OST Perfect Collection to me. I got my Sora order about 2 weeks ago, and the Falcom originals one still isn't here because of some other stuff I put in it (the 2 Sora artbooks - first one was out of stock and they didn't know when they were going to sell it again - then they decided they were going to restock it on the 6th and asked if I wanted to wait. So wait I am).

Got my package today, 7 days after they sent it, like the last time I ordered. And it's good cause i'm in Italy. I ordered the Ys series as you remember.
However I'm a little disappointed by the quality of the packaging. My last order came in a hard paperbag (or something similar) and every game was put in a rigid box of paperboard. Looks solid, do the job greatly.
This time the game came in a bigger box with a little layer of padded material. The games are stacked each other. At the top few chunk of paper. This packaging is inadeguate for the price spent (it's signed 6200 yen instead of 7000, i don't know why). However the game boxes seem fine, maybe due to the layer of cellphane that cover them. This layer cannot prevent damages from impact and i'm lucky that there aren't bump on them. Every box when moved made a strange sound like something inside was moving. By the noise a think something is broken, like the part of the dvdbox that keep the dvd firm. I have to check them all, then I'll let you know. Also I missed the logo picture frame too (last time was in the same box with felghana that this time is missing).
I hope the game are fine because I cant efford to send them back, contact falcom that doesn't reply well and wait.
Falcom is definitly getting worse in these things.

My order came in a big box with the game boxes stacked on top of each other, with 2 layers of "small bubble" bubble wrap around it. Not enough in my opinion and I would've preferred if a single layer of bubble wrap separated all the boxes (to prevent friction damage). My music CDs came wrapped in "big bubble" bubble wrap. On top of everything was a single layer of hard paper. More importantly, the first time I bought Ys Origin (Limited Edition), it came in a specially made white cardboard box. This wasn't there this time. And the first time I bought Ys: Oath in Felghana (Limited Edition), it came in a specially made brown cardboard box. In this brown cardboard box was the actual game case as well as the "logo picture frame". Of course, both brown cardboard box and "logo picture frame" wasn't there this time. Maybe the "logo picture frame" was just a temporary bonus.

Also the cardboard box was very good and I told all the people I know about that because the way it protect the gamebox and the way it can be opened was smart. There was 2 opening in the opening side that close over each other for double protection. Also there cellophanned gamebox inside could be easly extracted. I still have this cardboard because are very usefull.

Maybe the "logo picture frame" was just a temporary bonus. Seemigly more like random bonus. Even when the game was new, quite a few people didn't get this thing for some reason. I got it both times I bought YsF. First when I preordered it and then when I got it in a special offer that I ordered along with Ys Origin. I'm disappointed to hear that they have stopped delivering games in the matching cardboard box cover thing. They've always been doing that. Many years ago, those boxes even had the game logo printed on it, a nice touch.

Just to let you know. I checked the 2 game that i'm interest into: Ys VI and Origin and the inside of the boxes are fine. The noise was probably the piece of paper within the box. I still love the way Falcom dvd are attached to the box, never seen in other game. Now a question. Ys VI and Ys Orgin are 1 disc only? Because over the dvd there's written "Game Disc" (and I hoped that the game doesn't ask it after installation). Also the funny thing is that in Italy, and maybe other european county, game with multi cd came often in a 1dvd box with 1 dvd in the right place and the other in little envelope. Falcom game are 1 dvd only and came in 2dvd boxset I'll check the other game later but now I think they are fine, I just paniched a little. However I hoper they'll return to their previous packaging. now if a translation patch come out...

Ys VI and Ys Orgin are 1 disc only? All of Falcom's standard edition PC games come in CD/DVD cases that can hold 2 CDs/DVDs, even if those games are only on 1 CD/DVD. As for Ys VI and Ys Origin, they are technically one disc only. However, I recall there being a bonus/extra disc for both of those games, but I don't remember what exactly they are. I would like to acquire them.

1. It'll ask for the disc after installation unless you hunt a No DVD patch out. Just comes up when you start the game 'Insert game disc' on the main menu and won't let you go further. 2. All their games come with the space for 2 discs for some reason. Origin's actually served a purpose though - there was an extras disc that was sent out after its release with some more content (extra difficulty mode, battle arena etc), though that content was included in versions of the game made afterwards so you should have it on your main disc.

I really like Falcom dvd boxes. Yes, the extra disc is already on the main disc. However I wonder where I can find the version of the game, the only thought is Properties tab on the exe file. The only thing that I miss now is to understand what is written in the game About the nocd, I made an image of the disc to play without it inserted. Hope this not automatically make me a butt-pirate or some similar nickname. I preferred Ys I&II that let you play without the disc itself, there's no reason to ask you a dvd that the game really doesn't need to run. Today Falcom updated the Special Offer page with an already made Gensosangokushi offer (same price also). Gensosangokushi (DVD) Gensosangokushi II (DVD (not Vista version) + Gensosangokushi Original Soundtrack + Gensosangokushi II Original Soundtrack + Gensosangokushi Super Arrange Version + Gensosangokushi II Super Arrange Version + Mouse Pad

I'm not 100% certain on this, but I believe Ys I & II Complete and Eternal DO actually require the disc to be in the drive in order to play... it's just that Nightwolve and Deuce's English-language patch has a no-CD patch built into it. -Tom I suspected it and I don't remember if I ever tried the YsI&II without the english patch because the patch was already out when I bought the game. But I think I have at least tried it once after installation, simply I don't remember if it required it or not. Felghana however, if I remember correctly, required the dvd even with the patch. Ah, good times when patches did things right with improving intent without thinking to other stuff like piracy and similar.
