I wish there is an invincible mode......this game is hard.......

It's hard? I'm assuming you mean the SNES version. The Turbo one isn't, & I can't remember how the Genesis one is, & I don't know how the PC-88 version is......nor have I gotten far in the Famicom version, but I always here how hard the SNES version is.

Actually, I think this is the easiest Ys game. The SNES version is probably the easiest, the Mega drive/Genesis version is probably the hardest, even though it's relatively easy too.
Although, there's a free level up cheat in the old game(s). So there might just be one in the new one as well.

Huh, I always here about the SNES version being too hard do to the controls or something.......unless I'm getting that mixed up with the Gen version. Actually, I think this is the easiest Ys game. The SNES version is probably the easiest, the Mega drive/Genesis version is probably the hardest, even though it's relatively easy too. Although, there's a free level up cheat in the old game(s). Well, the controls in the SNES version is so bad that it's almost funny. But the game is extremely easy. You gain so much exp by killing enemies so it almost feels like cheating. The Mega drive version is much better graphic-wise, sound-wise and gameplay-wise. It's the best version of all, according to me.
Edit: The SNES version is way too fast. Adol's arm is like some kind of engine. No one can swing a sword that fast!

yeah it's kinda weird, but I play it for the total story. I want to know what happens after Ys II

In that case you better play Ys IV.......... Ys IV takes place right after Ys II.......

Exactly. YsIV takes place after YsII. YsIII takes place AFTER YsIV. Nobody really knows if it's before or after YsV, though (right?) But I'm pretty sure YsIII is before YsV. YsVI is most certainly before YsVI though.

YsIII is easy??? That's funny... cause I never left that mine place! LMAO!!! You know what I'm talking about... I just hated the setup of it - the sideway scroll view. I like the overhead style better. I had a hard time doing the chopping movement and jump and move and get those annoying little critters in the mine (the one that are so low to the ground!).

This looks really nice. I've played through the SNES version of Y's III. The visuals are good. Now I hope they can add a couple of new dungeons in the new version.
