Jap. Kidou Senshi Gundam Eng. Mobile Suit Gundam In Gundam, people roam the space, earth and moon in humanoid fighning machines called Mobile Suits. In the Universal Centuary, a young lad named Amuro Ray get's to pilot the prototyp Gundam RX-78-2 during a suprise attack at a secret base where they developed the RX-78-2 as a purpose to counter-attack the Zeon's Mobile Suits. Amuro Ray, a civilan, is the hope for the Earth Federation in this devastating, One Year War. (This is where "Gundam ONLINE" will take it's part ) In this age of technological wonders, the ruling elits live in space colonies, using the ravaged Earth as a battleground to settle their diffrences. Every four years a martial tournament called the Gundam Fight is held to determine the leader of the space colonies, and now the Gundam Fighters who represent each colony has gathered on Earth to begin the 13th Tournament. Their purpose is simply to fight, fight and fight in a last-man-standing to claim the title "Gundam of Gundams" But Neo Japan's Domon Kasshu has another, secret mission... and if he fails, all of humanity may pay the price. The century is After Colony 194 and the colonies is tightly held under control by the Earth Federation Forces. Behind this is the secret society called "Oz". In a mission to declare independence, 5 Gundams are sent to Earth. The mission? Operation: METEOR. Can the five Gundams help the colony to declare independence before they destory each other first? Or is Operation Meteor really a codename for something else? (Incoming Transmission; "Gundams are ...... to Earth.... operation METEOR ..... started.... Commence Colony Instability....... legrade point..... 2 million will...." Transmission recived, to heavy decoded. Date is uncertain) Cosmic Era 71. A war is under way between the genetical enhenced Coordinators and unmodified Naturals. The Naturals has created a prototype Gundam codenamed "Strike" at a neutral space colony. Through a twist of fate, the young coordinator Kira Yamato becomes the pilot of the Alliance "Strike" Gundam, and finds himself forced to fight his own people in order to protect his friends... Other Series; There are also a varius of other Gundam series such as ZZ-Gundam, Victory Gundam and SD-Gundam. The one that I found most intressting was this one, Gundam SEED: Destiny which takes place two years after the events of Gundam SEED. For more Gundam information, check Gundam's official website.

Hey, it's been awhile for a reply to this thread, but i have a question about the Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeta Series. Is it any good? I have never seen this one but I've found the LE seried with the artbook, box, figures, poster, and all 50 episodes on 10 dvd's. I just want to know what the series has to offer in terms of action, storyline, and just whether or not the series was a good one or not, I was thinking of picking up the LE Edition. The one I'm most familiar with is the G-Gundam:Mobile Fighter with Domon Kasshu, great series. I love the manga books Vol.1-3.

hi zeta has been refered to as one of the best of the gundam sagas. it is old school anime so do not expect any cutting edge animation but the story characters and designs are some of the best. if you are most familiar with G-Gundam than this might not be for you it is more down the line of the orginal Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 but with flashier designs. it has alot of story but not every episode is action packed, though there is alot of great action. i am a huge Gundam fan and have a room full of gundam stuff including resin kits, models and figures. it is nice to see another fan on this board. you should check out some of the movies and OVAs like F-91, 0083 Stardust Memory or Chars Counter Attack, or if you like importing, the Victory Gundam series is quite good. I am hoping they translate that one next.

Naw, I was just really wondering about it, that's all. There seem to be many Gundam series' so when I saw the Zeta LE collection, I was thinking that was pretty cool, but I just wanted to make sure the series rocks so the money spent would be well worth it. For now, though, I hafta pass on it since funds are deep in the hole and I'm going to pick up a boost mobile phone instead , ya know, more important things in life first, THEN I go for the things I want. So now I'm going to end up selling off my whole collection of Ys LE games and VGM OST's just to get enough money to make it through this year. CRAP!!!!

I'm currently working on Gundam SEED (Dutch grammar check) for the Dutch speaking region, and now around eps 20 the story finally starts off to get interesting. But I still wouldn't buy it on DVD, 10DVD's is a little to much for a series in my taste

Speaking of which, I just finished my Seed DVD collection...I finally have all ten. Zeta Gundam is, IMO, one of the best Gundam series out there. The limited edition box set was well worth spending my hard earned cash.

Yes, I've seen completly Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. Also seen the "Final Plus" of GSD. I've heard from a friend who have heard that Bandai are planning yet another part of the "Seed Era" called "Eternal". So probably, the next 50 episodes will be named "Gundam Seed Eternal" if it's true. I bet it will be feturing Kira and Athrun as well as Shin. If not, then atleast the "legendary" Freedom and Justice will be stored somewhere in Orb. I'm quiet posetiv that will be something like that and the main character will ofcourse pilot Freedom

hi i love the gundam x series, i have already seen the entire thing. i cannot not figure why people do not like it, i do not even think they have a reason, thye just hear one person say they did not like it and assumed it was bad and say the same thing, those who have acctually watched it know it is quite good. it was not a ratings grabber when it first came out because there was alot of stiff compatition when it was airing in japan, including Evangelion. so people assumed because it did not have the best ratings that means instantly the whole series sucked....sad, if they would have watched it they would have realized what a great series it was. i wish there was more merchendise for this as well. I do not know if you are familiar with or a collector of, but i hope they make a nice Gundam Fix figure of the Gundam X and Gundam XX or maybe even a Master grade kit. by the way what version are you watching there are alot of HK fansubs out there, or did you download it? i just wanted to get a idea of the quality of some of the versions on the market. by the way you really should check out the gundam zeta movie trilogy as well it is quite incredible so far.

Can't keep up with it all! I really want to see more Gundam, but I have too many interests. Games, comics, drawing, game music, anime, manga, game music. There's hardly anything out there I don't like, and I really liked Gundam Wing and G Gundam. I'll make an effort to check this out!

Its the herolegends version 2 of the series....the video quality is pretty good , but the audio was done really bad. It is too loud so there is quite alot of distortion...but its easy to get used to. Gamemusicfreak...i HIGHLY RECOMEND seeing this series...email me
