I finaly got the Ys 3disc DVD anime. (got it at http://www.rightstuf.com) I preaorderd it. The anime is grate, exept for the packeg, (a little difficult to remove the DVD, it could mess them up) its nothing special the DVDs are all that matter. It has a preview of Ys4. The Ys4 preview is a anime. Does anyone know when its coming out.
PS: if anyone is thinking of downloading it from a PtoP program, forget it. Each disc is close to 8gb and no one has it so unless someone has it and him and u have a T3 cunection dont bother.

I've read on other sites that there isn't a Ys IV anime, and the the trailer is nothing more than a trailer. I hope it's not true, but given the fact that the Ys anime is over 10 years old, it doesn't look too good.

Too bad this is just a "collection" with the three Ys DVDs. There's NOTHING new in it! All the bonus material could be found on the earlier DVDs....

Except the price.... I think it costs like 26.95 for the collection. I bought them last month and spent like 70 dollars.

Well, is the "Ys Legecy" good anime anyway? So far it sounds like it eats the dirt it was made from

I think they are good. They are definately worth a shot at that price. I'm not really into anime, unless it's video game related, so the animation didn't look that bad to me. They do take some liberties with the story, but if you are fan, you probably won't mind too much.

It's time... To make this a more popular thred! Hm.. Keith, is called Keys in the Anime.. "In fact, his a cocksmen, and a good one from what I remember from last night", hahaha. Damn funny those bloppers. What do you prefer, the anime of the game? I prefer the anime, it feels more powerfull and a perhaps greater story then the game.

Story wise the anime is better, because you get more of a background on Adol himself. you see one or two flashbacks to his youth with his dad. also you see more of Adol's personality espacially in Ys II: Castle in the Heavens, where he gets full of rage at the very end.
but I don't think you can really compare the two, it's on two totally different formats. in the game you need to figure out stuff and in the anime there aren't many puzzels that Adol has to solve.
I don't know those bloopers by heart, sorry ^^

Yeah, you're right ofcourse. The game has it own touch while the anime has it own. No pussels?? The game is crawling with them and saying to me "Aha, and what are you going to do now ey? Are you gonna cry? huh? are you gonna cry now? Hah! Crybaby" hehe You don't? Hehe, I thought they where great

No actually the anime is really good the first disc is kinda slow but after you play it the second ROCK! and the YSII anime was really good art/action/story it was all good the Music rocked also. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't like the YSII anime. Plus YSIV the anime was a movie I think but I searched it and found it on a japanese site. Hey also the preview means it will come out soon here.

Actually, that trailer is really old (1993-1994) and they never finished that anime. Note that the DVD's might be new, but the original animes were first released on VHS's in japan in 1990. So this isn't exactly new.
