Hi people, I'm new on this forum, and from now, excuse my bad english cause I'm french. I have installed the game, I launch it, play a new game, i see the introduction, and when i left my bed to talk to the two first characters on my right, the dialogue begin. They advice me to take a tour outside, and when the place is going to change, the game plant and i return to windows, with a mail of the game who say : error windows video (something like that). I don't know what I can do to play to this wonderful game, please, save me !  |

if you are haveing a video problem you might want to update your drivers, I had a problem with Ys the Oath in Felghana on the story parts as well, all i did was upgrade and i had no problems from that point on. by the way welcome to the site chris  |

Is the game Ys Eternal or is it Ys Complete?

I have the last driver of my geforce and i have installed satsuki codecs so i don't think that the problem comes from here. Could it be a problem of japanese police ? (i don't know if it is the right english word)

hi there is no Ys 1 and 2 Eternal Complete, there is Ys 1 and 2 Complete and Ys 1 and 2 Eternal, they are seperate games,

Perhaps I should put it on the top of the page, saying: THERE IS NO Ys ETERNAL COMPLETE - Ys ETERNAL AND Ys COMPLETE ARE TWO SEPERATE GAMES! By the way, try downloading some Intel Indeo drivers. That might help. |

ok, so it's Ys I&II Complete. I have installed the last ideo driver i found and it doesn't work. By the way, i can't read the the AVI folder's videos, is it normal ?

no you should be able to read them, maybe they are corrupt, can you reinstall them?

i hace disabled the AVI videos and it works. So it is a codec problem... What codecs are important. Can you give me the links to the last versions because I have tried the Ideo with a 5.0 and it doesn't change anything.
