General Rules (partly taken from Digitalsloth.com)
Anything deemed sexually or racially discriminating, or of an equally offensive nature may get deleted and the administrator and moderators may also choose to ban the author (depends on the post). This rule applies to all forums.
Adult material is not allowed. Pornographic stories, pictures, violent stories, etc. are not allowed. Post them and they will get deleted. Continue with breaking the rule and you will get banned (no warnings, we ban you whenever we please).
The administrator and moderators are allowed to delete and modify posts/threads and/or ban you without giving you, or anyone else, an explanation (not likely to happen).
The administrator and moderators are allowed to “close” a thread whenever they please. They don't have to give you or anyone else an explanation. If you try to continue the “closed” thread with creating a new thread, this thread will be deleted. Continue with breaking the rule and you will get banned (no warnings, we ban you whenever we please).
Do not use offensive usernames and/or pictures.
Creating multiple accounts to back your own posts up under another name is not only very lame, it’s also not allowed. The posts will get deleted, and if you continue, you might find yourself banned eventually.
If your post contains (private) information that was gathered from a non-public place, then you will find your post deleted.
Linking to pictures from a host that you do not control (i.e. 3rd party) is done at your own risk. If the host of the picture decides to change it onto something inappropriate and against the rules of this board, you will have to deal with the consequences. Also, if the image is not loading due to a slow host, the whole page containing that image will be slowed down. This is highly frowned upon!
Even though the board offers the future to quote entire posts do not quote entire posts when a single line is enough to inform one what you're responding to. Please warn those who you see (ab)using the quoting feature and inform them of this rule.
Fake links are not funny and are not permitted. With fake links we mean fooling one by letting the hyperlink point somewhere else than the name it was given.
Do not abuse the board code for your amusement. This means making such an eyesore of a post with the font tags that your post is un-readable. Be considerate of the other posters please.
Please don't advertise your links throughout the forum. Ever. You have a spot in your profile that you can place a link and you are allowed to keep on within your signature as long as it doesn't violate any other rules. However, we don't want to see you plugging your forum/website/cute little puppy every post in every other thread. We get the idea you want us to visit, beyond that, everything will be deleted. Continue to do so and you are likely to find yourself unwanted here. Quite simply: advertising is not allowed!
Banishment
The administrator and moderators are allowed to do everything to get you banned from this board.
Bans may be temporary. Temporary or not, creation of mule accounts in attempt to bypass our ban will always result in a permanent ban and if we find it appropriate we will take it a step further and complain about you at your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and take any other step necessary to get rid of you.
If you're no longer welcome on our forum and we have repeatedly let you know by banning one or more of your accounts, we will do anything to get rid of you. If this means that we'll have to let our webserver forward you to the grossest sites on the net instead of getting the usual dull forum displayed on your screen, so be it!
Signatures
You may use images in your signatures on this board. But only under these conditions:
Max length: 550 pixels, max width: 100 pixels. Images bigger than this are not allowed and they will be deleted immediately! This is not only because they are too big, but because they will stretch the board layout and that is very annoying.
Max size: 50kB. Images bigger than this will be removed!
Do not use disturbing images such as flashing animations, offensive content or the like.
If you fail to follow these guidelines, your signature will be removed without further notice. If this happens more than once, it will result in a big ugly warning under your username.
Avatars
As for avatars, you are allowed to use your own pictures, but you can also choose any picture in the avatar database here.
Images over 100x100 pixels will automatically be reduced to that size, but the size still remains intact! Therefore, you are not allowed to use images bigger than 50kB! If your avatar is bigger than this, it will be removed immediately. It is highly recommended that you reduce the size of your avatar to 100x100 pixels with an image editing program such as Paint or Photoshop before you link to it.
Do not use direct linking unless the host is fast and reliable. It is highly recommended that you download the image you want to use and upload it to a fast and reliable host such as Imageshack. Images that will not load due to an unreliable host will slow down the entire message board and will be deleted immediately.
