I thought the big building in the Thief village might have been some kind of gambling minigame, seeing as how the access to the yard is hidden, but since it appears you cannot enter it...
Gemma's tower suprisingly only has 4 floors (you will have to tackle it twice though).

maybe the building opens up later after you do something or get an item to enter it.
So far only 2 villages have secrets that u need an item to enter in a house. What about the others?

This is just debris from the broken statue.
You need to go to the Elf village and talk to the girl whom you first met in the woods. Then you can proceed past the statue in the southern woods to a new area (the Wind Valley). There, go through the southeastern most exit and defeat the boss to retrieve the stolen book. Then, return to Gemma's Tower to get the new magic.

how far am I from the end of the game? this game seems to be much bigger than Ys4 or 5. Unfortunately, you still have a long way ahead of you. I think you need to map one more dungeon before entering the Palace of Solomon which is a nightmarish maze of twisting corridors. |
