I like the game. It brings back the action of Y’s 3 with a Zelda play. It got rid of the play field border to use the howl screen witch is great ,but Falcom should have made it isometric like LandStalker but better, with 8 way directional action.

Now when you mention it.... An isometric view WOULD have been sweet! Just like in Landstalker, as you said.. It would have been cool. But I still like the game as it is. It's nice, but a bit too similiar to most other SNES RPGs.

No no no, full control of the action is much better especially if you haw more combat moves. PS: Moongazer what system is that Ys1 pic from?

Yep - it's from Falcom Classics vol. 1. Although, vol. 2 is better because it's got some anime cut-scenes - they're a little choppy, but nice nonetheless.
I was able to extract them from the disc. I'll submit them for download section when I get the chance.
