I just saw that YsVI is apparently be released on PSP! (Playstation portable). I wonder what this will be all about, perhaps a reason to buy the PSP? Edit: There's even a release date! Yeah. They changed the sequences. They are cool in the PC version, but they seem MUCH cooler in this one!

It's a little lame to me. I prefer the drawings by far. The renders don't even look that good. Maybe if they were on par with Square or the like, but they look like they're from about three years ago. They're too smooth and plastic-y. Anyway the thought of all those geeky Americans in Idaho or wherever trying to hastily render the cinemas in time for the release really freaks me out. They seem to not get that the game is like a modern-retro masterpiece.

You're right; those are the original sprites, but I wonder if they're just re-using old footage to make the trailer. I've seen so many clips with the 3D characters, it makes me really doubt the footage, but I wrote a letter to Konami, and I know many others did too, stating how much I loved the original characters and music. So maybe we made a difference. Sounds kind of impossible. I'd love it if it were true though.
