Didn't they include the new orchestrated soundtrack in Ys VI ? isn't there a cheat to play with the new tracks ?

Unfortunately you can't play with the new music. They do use it though. There's a sub-area and set of dungeons on the game Konami made specifically for this port and they use the remade music there. Most of it's quite nice, though unfortunately it looks like it won't be making it onto cd.

I don't think it's bad neither. But I think the original fitted the game much better.

no, i agree the original music is still great but i wouldn't have complained much about konami's music.
although, having said that... i'm glad they didn't change it and just added their own thing to it.

Is "release far west of the ocean" from the PC "opening" (OP was after the game starts) still in de game? that is, imho, the best song on the entire OST

Yes but only if you enter the code to play "PC anime" version of the game (best music indeed !!).

what's the code? on the official site there was the dubbing code, but not the anime code I thought there was a topic about it around here, but I can't seem to locate it anymore
