Have you played YsI for X68000? It has a damn fine town song. Zepik village. Very nice (and exclusive for the X68000 version).

heh, just returned from finishing Ys VI for the second time ^_^;; Nope i've never played Ys on the X68000, I don't even know what that is @_@;;; lol

Silly me... But there ARE songs from Ys VI that I *would* burn to a CD... I'm just waiting for the PSFs to be released. That'll never happen. YsVI uses real audio files straight from the PC version. Buy the soundtrack CD if you want the music. It's avaliable from Falcom themselves. Only ¥2,980!

i finished it last night, i quite enjoyed the whole game! but i've been a huge Ys fan for many years.
actually it's the first game i have for PS2 that i actually completed, haha.

i love it how most of the people complaining are complaining about the cutscenes and music/sfx if the gameplay is decent enough, the story is portrayed in a sensible understandable fashion, and you are a Ys fan I say: 1) turn off the music for 2) get some headphones 3) hook up your ipod, cd player, or other mp3 player and listen to that. such trivial things should not be stressed upon.
I mean all this in a construct non agruementative way, although i feel some will think otherwise lol

1) turn off the music for 2) get some headphones 3) hook up your ipod, cd player, or other mp3 player and listen to that. such trivial things should not be stressed upon. as a fan of Ys Book I & II for the TurboGrafx, that would be complete and total blasphemy. i liked the music in VI though. as good as I & II? no way, but what is? well, maybe maybe Final Fantasy VI.
