Check it out!The graphics are very poor, but that doesn't really matter. Seems pretty good though.

Thanks for the link. Are they really going to be closer to the SD character design style like in the original? Fanatastic!!

Thanks for the link. Are they really going to be closer to the SD character design style like in the original? Fanatastic!! Nope, they're not going to be closer to the original ones - they are the original ones!

Oh man, now I will have to shell out the money for a PSP. Maybe a DS, too, if Final Fantasy III makes it out for that system. Gonna go beyond broke!!! I AM LOVING THIS FINAL FANTASY I-III SUPER FAMICOM STYLE CD!! I encourage the fans here to check it out!

Yeah, I'm gonna have to buy this game whether or not I own a PSP yet. I'm gonna have to wait to get one till the price drops to at least $180. I just can't buy expensive stuff like that anymore. I have a 5 month old. She gets most of my money now.

Ahh, I didn't realize the PSP version would also have exclusive content. If they did stick anything in, I figured it would be the Trials of Alma again, not something else. I was going to buy this version regardless, but since it seems to be more faithful to the PC original in presentation, I'm getting excited all over again.
I've been tempted to replay the PS2 version for quite some time now, but will hold off for the PSP release, I think. Anyone know when it's supposed to hit the USA?

I've heard November 31st. I trust that.

I'm usually wary of 1st/15th/30th/31st dates... particularly when they're so many months away... they're usually placeholder dates, in my experience.
Still, that'd make it just over a week away from my birthday, which would be a nice present to get. Though... the new Zelda is supposed to be out around then too.
If there's one franchise that can make me forget Ys, it's Zelda, I must admit! ^_^

a new reason for me to play my psp, i wish there were more games like this out on it. i will say this much i wish they could have done better with the graphics, games like Ridge Racer and Wipeout prove that they can do some high quality 3-d effects with excellent detail.
