you could have warned me. let me rewrite. so far, i like the msx version. the music is nice(but different), and there is no intro. i love that intro edit- is golvellius2 as good as the original? edit- other great games: golden eye perfect dark silent hill zelda 3, oot

doh; pen pals is such a cool idea
Unfortunately, I think the whole existance of the internet kind of degrades the value of the idea. It's something I enjoyed in grade school for the sake of novelty. Now that the idea of interacting with millions of people from across the planet at any hour of the day or night seems like yesterday's news, I find it hard to get excited about the idea anymore. Oh well.
Don't feel obligated to argue with me over this; if you're not so jaded, that's excellent.
My point is just this: We all have a hundred or so pen pals these days. In some ways it's good, it kinda broadens our perspective of people and places. On the other hand, we tend to lose track of the little things that made the whole affair special.
I dunno, late night rant. Sorry.
