Ahoy guys I heard about Ys6 over a year ago and I didn't realize it came out back in Feburary of 2005 for PS2, any chance someone knows if I could still snag a new or used copy at a software store such as GameStop or EB games?

So they left the VI in the title in the UK/Europe version? I didn't know that. That's as crazy as changing the Dragon Quest titles to Dragon Warrior in the U.S. and then when it reaches it's eighth installment changing it to Dragon Quest. You can still buy Ys VI PS2 at the Media Play here in Georgia.

Best Buy also sells it, if your local store happens to have it.
Least, the last store I transferred from and the current one I work for carry it.

I went to EB games yesterday and they had it used for $29.99. I had to ask if they had sold many copies of the game. Of course the guy said he has had that same used copy for months. Oh well, I guess it's pretty much the same everywhere else, huh? I would hope not. Still nice having a game store I can walk to in ten minutes.

Saw one a few days ago at Gamestop and EB for 30+ The PS2 copy I picked up was labelled as being $36.99, but it rang up as $30, same price as on their website. I imagine that's in their computers and the same would go pretty much anywhere. What kills me is that when the guy at the register at GameStop showed me the disc, it looked like it had never been touched, and the booklet looked the same. It was like someone popped open a copy and instantly returned it. The PSP version went pretty quick... I grabbed it a week or so after it came out, and since then, I haven't seen many new copies, and now I don't see any used or new. As Majuunun said, if you want new, direct from Konami is the way to go, but you'll be paying $40.

Gamestop is where I bought mine. I had to call 3 stores to find a copy though but they do have it. I want to say I paid $25 for it used (Dallas, TX metro area)
