Well, just came here to say that I was FINALLY able to test this patch, see how it turned out and all and... Wonderful job. I'm using the Limited Edition with the Standard Edition patch, by the way.

I had a few questions about this. First, Doppi is your site using some sort of java application? Lately anything with a java app or even just some sort of ad using it crashes my browser. I can view your site just fine if I stop it from loading everything, but I obviously can't register to download the patches.
So as a second could anyone mirror the patch elsewhere, or should I try a different browser?
Oh well, I just tried to register using IE and the site isn't crashing, but the Italian is very detrimental. Guess I should just click until it works.
Well nevermind all this, I got the patch downloaded with IE (after having to download it twice since my net decided to loldie halfway in) and have the game patched for English. Time to enjoy Napishtim again. i never got too far in my PS2 Nightmare file, maybe I'll do more here

Indeed, that was rude.
By the way, if you don't mind me asking, which browser were you using prior to IE? It sure doesn't seem to have been Mozilla, or even Apple's Opera... [/curiosity]

It is firefox, something happened some months ago where java applications crash my firefox. Not quite sure what but I've managed to do just fine avoiding sites that can crash it. Also the register form and website were both in Italian until I told it my language was English in the register form, then the website updated itself entirely to English. The page with the downloads was in English prior to the register page, it may have just been the register link I used reset the language to default or something.
I'm usually a pretty straight forward guy that doesn't say thank you, or you're welcome or expect either said to me, but I can toss a thanks your way. I'd imagine downloading and using the patch would show I a grateful for your hard work but I also know it's nice to just hear a thanks. I was actually thinking about editing in a thanks after I patched it, but almost immediately after my friend called and asked me to help him move since he just bought a house and I've been doing that all day. Literally just got home a few minutes ago grabbed a drink, tossed my clothes in the wash and sat down.
tl;dr, My firefox is dumb and thanks for the hard work on the patch Doppi

Don't worry I think you got the meanin' of my words You're really welcome. Well..about italian language: it's very strange since since all the portal and the forum are set to use english language as default. This is a gift to all the users who live outside italy. I'll check better. Bye bye and enjoy yourself

Nah I'm find with my firefox as it is. Very few sites I visit use the type of java that crashes me, and I can just visit those with IE.

I think that soon you'll eb able too see some movies about it Stay tuned. After felghana i'll start translatin' Ys VI into italian yeah, felghana is even better, i've still to finish it in easy mode, and try to unlock the last difficulty level, i'll wait the patch to restart it ^___^ I'm curious too. I plan to use it to study italian, besides the classes. xD Attempt to convert sentence to italian (is it right? ): (Io) Sono curioso anche. (Io) Pretendo studiare italiano un pò con Ys VI! xD No idea how to say "besides the classes" though... i'd never think you were studying italian XD your attempt is not so bad, considering that italian is a really difficult language ^^

Uh oh, that means my attempt was quite inaccurrate. xD My main language is actually portuguese, and since it shares many, many similarities with italian, it's not that difficult for me, but it SURE takes some time to learn decently. =)
It's a really, really cool language. It's so poetic, dramatic and full of emotion! T_T

I installed Ark of Napishtim PC and the patch today (could only find a torrent of the 1.1.0.9 version). It was a pain in the ass, as I had to change the region on my computer to Japanese in order to install the first patch to bring the game up to date (1.1.09), so I could then install the English patch. Before I figured out that, only because it was listed in the comments, I was cursing at my laptop because the .exe wouldn't even load up.
Started a new game to take a quick look at things. My god, it is so much more beautiful than the PS2 version. I'll always have fond memories of the PS2 version of Ys 6, as it introduced me to Falcom, but the graphics and character modules in the PC version are just gorgeous.
One question, did the team actually translate this game again, or did they just use the Konami translation? I don't know why they wouldn't use the Konami translation if they could, as it was quite good, and I doubt the company would give two shits.

The Konami translation was apparently used as a reference often, so you needn't worry about the translation quality anyway.

What i saw of the quality was great. And besides I'm not to picky (I even thing Bandai's translation of LoH is ok). I was just curious.

lol xD So you won't be bothered by this translation at all!! I heard terrible things of some Bandai translations of Falcom games.
