Hi .. i was wondering if someone could help me out... i just registered but have followed the board and posts for awhile now. i just got Ys 6 for the pc and when i clicked the link to get the english patch at the top of the page , the page never responds. could anyone tell me why or where else i can find the patch? if this has been answered already and i missed it, i apologize. i know the story( i finished the game for ps2 and psp, but since the pc version is superior i had to play it) but would just get more enjoyment out of it if i can play in english. any help is appreciated. thanks
I tried again and they both work on my wife's computer, just not my laptop for some reason .... maybe somethings off in my settings ...i dunno ill play around with them and see what happens...thanks for help guys ....really appreciate it
I've been trying to get the 220.127.116.11 English patch, but unable to do so. The site (http://ys6.figlidigaucci.eu) tells me I'm not authorized to DL and asks for registration, and when I register, the confirmation e-mail never arrives... I've waited for a long time, too, and tried resending... It says "contact administrator), but lists no e-mail...
Could someone possibly re-upload the 18.104.22.168 English patch to some other host for me (megaupload or sth), if you're lucky to be able to access it, so that I can finally enjoy the game?
Thanks a ton.

Here is the admin. Gmail is no longer blocked and this is the reason of so many spammers attacks during the last days. I think that the mail was filtered by your spam filter. BTW...if you need help just contact me here. bye Bye
I just did a clean installation of the game, it's version 22.214.171.124 and when I try to install the English patch, it puts a bunch of files and a folder called Release in C:\. The game is installed elsewhere on my computer. When I open the game\config with applocale it's still in Japanese.
Is there a way for those files to be installed in the same folder the game is installed at?
I just got the game yesterday and have been enjoying the patch and would like to say thanks. However, I have been taking screenshots of all the little errors and goofs I've found around 20 so far. If you ever plan on updating the patch, I may be of service.
Hey guys. I'm not sure if this is specific to the patch being that I couldn't get the game running at first, and didn't try after I officially patched with the Falcom ones, I immediately used 1202 and then the English patch. The "!" bubbles appear squished looking with numbers below like "21 24" only vertical (and sometimes goes back and forth between sets of numbers I'm assuming is the code for those images/scripts), and the Weapon, Shield, and one other slot in the inventory screen is a solid white box as well as some items that get dropped by an enemy. I haven't gone far outside the very beginning of the game, so I don't know how much of the dropped items are affected.
I sold my PS2 and missed Ys VI, so when I made a recent order from Falcom I added it to my list. Just got the package and installed the patch, and it's FANTASTIC! Thanks Doppi and crew for the excellent localization patch. I'm very much looking forward to your Ys Origin translation!
Not sure if this is the right place for bug reports (couldn't find an appropriate forum on the translators' site), but the config dialog window in v126.96.36.199 contains a minor typo. The setting for "FSSA - Type" I think should probably be "FSAA" as in Full-Scene Anti-aliasing.
I also had a question to which I couldn't find an answer when searching. Are there any content differences between 188.8.131.52 and the Vista release? Or is the latter just a compatibility release?
Thanks for your outstanding work. I'd gladly donate if you allowed.
Yes, you are posting the right thing in the right place. Also, welcome.
And, no, both Windows Vista and Windows 7 releases have no extras compared to the 184.108.40.206 version. In fact, it's funny, but it seems the previous releases are as Vista/7-compatible as the very Vista/7 versions. Apparently.
