doppiapunta, this is absolutely wonderful. I posted many many months ago that we needed someone like you. You have my full support. I don't want to again start up any debates about Ys VI on different platforms except to say this : The PC version IS the best version, for so many reasons, and therefor should be translated. Simple really.... I know you stated that you and your team translate for the enjoyment of it but if you need financial help you let me know. PLEASE keep up the fantastic work. Thank you dude. I'm really proud of your words... We don't need any financial input..we do it firstly for our sake..then if someone will enjoy our work that will be our greatest reward... However, on our website there is a PayPal Donation button..not for being payd for the work or for being supported in finishing it..only if someone likes what we did everyday and want to support us. If there won't be donations we will continue our work as we did 'till now.. So..don't be afraid the patch will be out... there are many things to do.. but we'll complete them step by step. My thanks go to Altima's precious and cool work... he is a great team member. Thank you to you all... by the way pc version is better than ps2 and psp ones without any doubt

Wow, excellent job on the forthcoming translation. It's always irked me that I never picked up the PC version of Ys VI. But I think it's about time I finally break down and triple-dip on this game. I recently finished another playthrough of the PSP port... and yikes. I still can't believe how hideous it is. I thought the PS2 version looked bad, but nowhere near as awful as the PSP game. And the framerates, sometimes dropping to sub 15 FPS. Yiiiiiikes.

That's because nobody in the entire world (but me) cares about sound quality. It's the most important thing of all, damn it!

I care about it, but the PSP speakers are so damn small and crappy (in the fat version) that you can't notice any sound quabbles to begin with. Same goes for the DS.

*nods* The only reason I derailed this topic in the first place, ironically, was to point out that I am grateful for and looking forward to the translation of the PC version.

Thank you...your support is very precious. However..i'm workin' over version 1.10.9, that is to say tle very first version updated with version 1.1.0.9. Maybe later i'll do also a patch for the Native 1.3.0.5 version that is the native vista compatible version. I think it will be a hard work..maybe the strings and packages will be located in a different way. My question is: do you have version 1.1.0.9 or version 1.3.0.5? Maybe it will be better opening a poll...maybe i'll do in the future thank you to everybody

And doppiapunta: Despite not wanting to do the translation for this game myself, I too am greatly looking forward to it. Your dedication to these games is admirable, and I look forward to playing Ys VI PC in English when you guys are all done. -Tom I will be very proud of it as i'm proud for your words now... I'm waitin' you for the other project..no hurry but waitin' for you and also for the two new members contact Bye Bye

You... don't play with headphones? Sometimes, but not very frequently. I have a really nice pair of big muff headphones, but I usually stick a 'Y' cable into an AUX port on my stereo, which sounds really great. Problem is when I am in my van, I don't have that luxury. Same with anywhere that isn't my house, or when my better half wants quiet time.

Well i have two version Of Ys 6: the original one 1.00 that is 12.08 when updated, and the 1.305 that is the latest compatible vista one. Since i don't have the 1.2.01 version i didn't plan to a patch for that version since i don't really know how the packets are organized inside. I think that the most popular version is the 1.1.09 ...

Wow, I just stopped by here and I was not expecting to find a Ys 6 translation in progress here. I actually just imported the game and now I find my money was well spent. Thanks for translating the game.

Hi Guys i have here a bunch of new screens from the developtment of the Ys Vi translation patch. I hope you'll enjoy them: You can find more screenshots in the Gallery section on my website at this address: Ys VI- Translation Project Gallerybut you have to register to see them...unfortunately this is a limit of our portal. Sorry As you can see I started working over the panel strings, that si to say the strings which appear in the the botton left part of the screen when Adol is inside a shop, or inside Leav studio or inside the menu. This is a very boring and hard part since theese strings are inside the executable and we can't expand them so much for this time. We'll try to hack it more... hoping to have more success. However, as you can see the result is quite good also at this development point. By Bye guys
