He's not Dalles. THIS is Dalles. The Claw's name, according to the shots, seems to be 'Majin Toal'...? Interesting. Then there's Kishgal and Epona as well... Hmm... Though I'm wondering about the names Kishgal and Toal, personally. Ah, good, good, I figured those 3 people had to be some of the upper class goons that became Dalles & Darm, etc.

And while I think this trailer freakin' rules, I've gotta ask... am I the only one who preferred the music in the FIRST trailer? Yes, the violins are cool, and the real instruments are appreciated, but the arrangement of the song in the first trailer was just a LOT better IMHO... I totally agree! I really liked the music in the first trailer, but they kinda ruined it with the violins and crap.

I LOVE the music in the second trailer. I can't get it out of my head. Those violins make me all hot and bothered... or something..

"Why is there a short french phrase "__ ___, il y a un __ groupe _____ legendaire" at the beginning? I couldn't catch the words that are ___, and I don't know why I'm hearing a German word "ein" before "groupe"..." Errr for the french phrase, you know Ys is a legendary city from Britain, in FRANCE, right? Even Falcom locates Esteria in France on his "Kind of Europa" map It's a legendary flooded under water city (like Atlantis:) who was very brilliant, and people were jealous of it and had it destroyed, because she was too "shiny" for just a city..Something like that...It is said as well that PARIS is in fact PAR'Ys which means "Like Ys" in Britain language, Ys being a reference as a beautiful city. Check here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YsIt says something like "Chez Ys (gramatically not correct, or maybe Ker-Ys but that would be Britain dialect, I don't think they went this far:), il y a une "antifanpe" legendaire" (that's what i hear antifanpe, no meaning..maybe antique, but even if it was antique the phrase is meaningless) In Ys, there is a legendary (something)...I don't hear "groupe"?? The ein you hear is more like "une" I'm french, it's really horribly said but that's what's said

Well, I figured the French wasn't proper anyway... I dont think the ein I heard is une. They are 2 different sound. I'm not French but I do speak French Don't you just hate that?? Making a meaningless phrase... it could be worse if they DID have the intention of using European language and threw in a mix of French, German, Old English and stuff.... oy....

maybe time to write a nice introduction of the Ys games series and add it to that Ys page, because in the earlier versions it is definitly based upon that legend and the book: King of Ys.

Well "The King of Ys" is just a fictional book based on that "legend" and it is much more recent. The legend is probably from the 1800 if not earlier, "The King of Ys" is from the 70's.

Actually the legend of Ys in France isn't AT ALL known, I discovered it myself playing Ys and searching about it 20 years ago (more like 1990:)..Could have been a coincidence, but since Falcom actually put Esteria in France and more like in Britain (Bretagne) on their weird map, I guess they had the intention to make a link with the actual Ys legend? We should find the scenario guy

We should find the scenario guy Well, considering Tomoyoshi Miyazaki (the "scenario guy" who came up with Ys) has made some other games that takes place in the "real world" (Illusion of Time/Gaia, Terranigma) I don't think it is a coincidence. I guess he doesn't like making up new worlds.

About the "download thing"...I actually download Falcom games I own. Like I download PS2 Games I own, burn them, and play them. This way, I keep untouched my games, don't have to open them, keeping the value high, if selling one day. So downloading isn't always illegal I can even play the game when it comes out, don't have to wait 3-4 days until the actual game arrives...Does someone do like me?

I make image files from my own Falcom games, since I play them on my laptop. a disc moving around in a laptop DVD player can be damaged, and I don't want that with my Falcom games. for PC-engine I use burned disc, to keep the discs nice an clean.
