Hugo has one less item than Yunica, and The Claw has three less (notice the differently colored squares).

The difference's subtle, just a little lighter.

I seem to be stuck. Currently I'm in a section in the tower that the game suggests Yunica to play a song to nullify some evil sound that causes damage, but she doesn't seem to remember the song.
Did I miss something?

You have to run through the toxic nastiness to the first door on the right. Feed the little bugger on the other side, and he should teach you what you need to know.

I never tested it (because I'd already fed the roo), but before dispelling the sound you can use the shell to call base, and Eolia mentions the sound of something pure to counter the sound in the Devil's Corridor, and Yunica recalls the music that Feena played on her harmonica. Perhaps that might be enough without giving the nut to the roo? (for those who don't explore around and didn't find the nut, that is)

No. I did it that way, but she doesn't play the piece very well because she forgot it. You have to encounter the Roo to remember the song.
By the way, I'm stuck in the Devil's Door and I have to find an Evil Ring, but where can I find it?

Hrrm. Sadly, I've no map on hand, and don't recall the EXACT location, but I'm pretty sure it's in the (approximate) area you get the double jump ability. I believe there were a few hard to reach chests in the surround three rooms or so, so try d-jumping/whirlwinding around (and I think there's one that's only reachable by jumping down from an overhang reachable from another room). . . . that was all rather vague and imprecise. sorry.

Thanks for the answer. LOL, I didn't know there was an invisible bridge D:

Okay, I progressed, but I figure I'm near the end. I have all of the armors and boots, but I'm still missing a gem for the fire element.
I saw a Roo near the later floors, but no fruit...does it have the last gem?

It's probably the one who gives you the "burst" ability (I think that was the name). At least, that's what the last Roo gives you, in the Demonic Core.

That it does...hmm.
Do you know the location of the fire gems, generally?

I can't remember them all. Have you checked all previously unreacheable areas in the Sands zone after you got double jump? That's a possibility.

Eh, I said screw it and just finished the game. It seems Hugo's mode seems to be a carbon copy of Yunica's, outside of minor dialog changes. Is there any noteworthy features about his mode, or is it essentially a retread over Yunica's plotwise? And what about Claw?

Claw scenario is different a lot and more interesting in my opinion.

Hi, I get garbled/stuttering sound with this game. What should I do?
It seems it "only" happens with the background music/speech and not the sound effects.
I'm on XP 64-bit. Hope someone can help!

Don't know if the 64 bits can cause a problem. Have you tried lowering the game settings?

Yeah, it makes no difference. The game runs perfectly with this one exception.

Can you turn color resolution down to 32 bits, to see if it changes anything?
