That scene was so cute. ^__^ But it seems to me that almost anything involving Yunica is. Speaking of, I want to steal her little feather hair scarf. It has a pretty pattern on it. XD I'll keep the feathers then. :D BTW, is there an official word for that scarf thing? I was thinking do-rag but that's slang. :/

It's not annoying~ It's cute! ^o^
Well, it's certainly not something you'd imagine someone wearing while using an axe or sword to fight. :P Heck, it's not even adventuring clothing! She looks like she belongs in the marketplace selling fruit. In fact, her chara design reminds me of the merchants from Ragnarok Online.

It's just your anime hatred again I'm not particularly fond of it myself though, but it doesn't bother me. Her portrait looks fine, as does her sprite (but all the sprites look cute so it's not like that's anything special) but her character art's pretty meh to me. Then again I'd say that about most of the Origin designs, so...

It's not "hatred" so much as it is "boredom." I just get so tired of seeing the same basic characters show up in multiple series. The last anime I truly enjoyed was Gungrave, mostly because it was thoroughly unusual in how it went about its storytelling... and the fact that it wasn't at all afraid to kill off characters it had developed for a long time. Can't argue with that unfortunately Only really been watching actively for just over a year and the fact it's already really noticeable is... a bit sad. Still, so long as I can find a few things worth enjoying (and I can, not to say most of them don't have elements of the generic in them too) then I will. For now, anyway, I have a horrible feeling as soon as I finish learning Japanese to a reasonable standard and end up being able to read the stuff they're based off I'll end up watching even less. Seen as most anime right now seems to have come from some other medium which did it better. Ah well. Gungrave sounds interesting from a few info pages I read anyway, will have to watch that sometime. Paranoia Agent still holds the award for the biggest '...what the hell?' opening I've ever seen. Still only seen a third of that though, got to get round to finishing it sometime. I don't mind the cute either, quite like it sometimes, it's the flat personalities that're more annoying. Too many doormats and/or inexplicably moody bitches.

; That's scary. Although it harkens back to Ys I & II Complete where you could fireball the crap out of the poor villagers and scare the daylight out of them or make them hate you. > That was such fun. They need to bring it back.

They need to bring it back. And in Ys II, couldn't you still shoot fire as a Roo? XD I loved pissing off the enemies and having them go "WTF is wrong with you???" at Adol. (Or was I imaging you could do this?)

I don't remember if you could do that or not... I think you needed the Gemma wand equipped to stay as a Roo, but I could be wrong. ; Still, on that token, some of the stuff those monsters had to say to Adoloo (hehe) was great. Even better was how you could fry villagers till they hated you, then give them a handful of flowers/berries/whatever until they just loved you all over again. XD Naturally, that makes everything better.

Bwahaha. I have a habit of always hitting the jump button when I'm just wandering around. Sometimes, the character ends up on the statue or on a chest and I endu p saying (to the monitor ... character ... >_> <_<) "Get off of there!"
*stamps "lame" on own forehead*

Oh lord, has anyone been smacked away by the rotating spiked pillars at the Silent Desert right after opening a chest? I mean, during the time when the game is still showing what you found and all action is paused around the place EXCEPT the obstacles?
I can't believe that they would allow that to happen! :P I did laugh because it was so unexpected. Poor Yunica just flew back and landed flat on her face. ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

A New one I made yesterday: I haven't made any shots with Hugo yet, as I've only just finished the Water Prison with him.

That 'introduction' of Gelaldy was one of the most awesome "hoe noes it's a boss!!" scenes ever. XD Heck, the whole FIGHT with Gelaldy was awesome.

I remember being amazed that they included him when I first fought him. Gelaldy was a rather... filler boss in Ys II. Not an easy one by any means, if simply because you started running out of room to run from that damn tongue. But hot damn did they reinvision him.
