Has anyone checked Winny? If not, I'll be happy to do so. Winny is a royal pain in the butt to get anything from, but I've found it an invaluable resource for locating hard-to-find files over the last few years. Of course, I've also got a lot of virus- and spyware-scanner programs running on this computer. Otherwise, Winny would be a BAAAAD idea, believe me. -Tom I'm trying, but it's not really showing up so far, not even any fake ones. Of course, Winny's searching isn't the best.

I was getting the impression that the extra content was getting very big so they decided to release it as a bonus CD instead of straining their servers with a massive patch. I would not be surprised if it was a full CD size (~600MB).

I doubt the new game data is all that huge yeah, but definitely larger than what Falcom wants to put on their servers. I just wouldn't be surprised if the CD was that large is all (bonus extras or whatever). Here's a random blog post about it: dooy.cocolog-nifty.com/dooy/2007/03/ys_origin_extra.html

No, the patch is apparently available already. It's just that it's going to be included in the package starting on the 29th. Eyah. They're redoing the game to be Windows Vista compatible so watch for "Vista" in the label when ordering. Gah. Thanks for making me wish I didn't pick up YsO at launch, Falcom.

From experience though, Falcom usually takes several days before they reply. I dunno if that's the way it is locally over there but since people are possibly complaining at the Falcom forums, I guess not. :P

I ordered this expansion cd (along with a few other goodies) last week. I`ve ordered internationally from falcom before but this was my first time to since coming to live in Japan. I got an order confirmation and an order # but haven`t gotten anything back from them since. Part of my order was also the Origin soundtrack so I think that either way they will make me wait untill the 29th for my package but I think that the regular relaease date will be the 29th (since that`s the vista release) I`ll write when I hear back from them.

Hear hear, Deuce! I've not seen anything more on the boards. And the post had nothing to say on it in the staff blog update for today. I'll keep my eyes open. I'll just mod this to say: They are likely to just sneak it out on us, I think. I'm not sure I'm going to see anything show up publically with all this Sora no Kiseki the 3rd announcement stuff going on. XD; Whoa, did I just read something about Sora no Kiseki third chapter?? Is it for the PC?? Is there a website? So far I have only played first and second chapter of Sora no Kiseki.

Hrmn, I don't think Falcom's ever run out of stock quite like this before. Guess they're more popular than even they thought. Might be better just to get the updated version of the game they put out on the 29th, that's what I'll do if I buy the thing. I'm not so fond of update CDs, I have a tendency of screwing up the process.

You can apparently get the support cd from torrent websites.

Yes, Gillian is right. The Extra CD is 113MB. I couldnt install the extra cd from disc. I get a runtime error. I just copy and paste the Extra folders over to the original game folders. I ran the game and the new modes are present. Easy, Nightmare difficulty, Arena mode, as well as the bonus shop. I dont see Adol in Time Attack or Arena so maybe I havnt unlocked him yet. I beat the game on normal with all three characters but thats it. Wonder how Adol is unlocked?

So... Is it possible to have Adol in Story Mode?? Or just time attack and arena for Adol??
Originally gamefaqs members have gotten Adol in story mode for the non-extra version, but it freezes the game due to the fact that there are no event triggers for Adol to proceed in story mode. I wonder if Falcom has added trigger codes to allow Adol in story mode??
