Ack! No, no, no! I didn't mean share the GAME. Just the info/explanation! LOL! Didn't mean to do startle ya! Info wise, the Romun Calvary simply stripped him from his Armaments for their own needs, before throwing him in a prison cell.

Oh yeah... I was wondering what Deuce was talking about. But that only explains that one time, not every time. And didn't that happen in Mask of the Sun as well? ...i need to play through all the Ys one more time, my memory is starting to whither again

Well, that explains why he doesn't have the swank stuff he got in Ys I and II, at least. I'll just stand by the idea that Adol is just that stupid nice a guy that he doesn't have the heart to 'steal' such relics for his own personal gain. Or something.

Since we all know ONLY ADOL CAN get himself shipwrecked into the latest installment of his own series.

He sells it so he can have some cash for FOOD. An adventurer has to eat some time.
I think he actually goes without eating for the entirety of these games. Who else can do that? Only Adol can.

Maybe all ancient weapons and armor DISSOLVE WHEN EXPOSED TO SEA WATER. That would explain the loss of equipment in EVERY SINGLE GAME, I think. -Tom Or they're heavy, so he has to ditch them to avoid drowning. That would clear up I and VI.

Well, if ADOM has taught me anything, swimming means you'll insta-rust all your stuff.

I don't recall ever seeing Adol with a girl in a Romantic situation ? i mean saying i love you and stuff lol
but then again i still didn't complete Mask of the sun, so is there any scene where we can see Adol actually showing us that he is a playboy ??
i don't think so, he is just the perfect silent Hero

Typical Ys heroine: "Adol! You're so brave! Take me now, you red-haired stud!" Adol politely declined and went to go save another land from incomprehensible evil.I think he's got a fetish for turning women down. You know, I always thought it was rather strange that none of these heroines never came up to him and said "I love you! Will you settle down here with me?" Not even Lilia. They all just end up implying their love by saying something like "Oh, thank you so much. You have done so much for us."

Only Adol can resurrect a topic more than three years dead. Clearly, Karura must be Adol in disguise!
