I swore off MMORPG but I would totally drop 10-15$ a month for this.

Uhm...well...I would like to do that to, you see...But I just wouldn't have that famous thing called money, and... You could just go out to the field, kill some demons, and take their money. (Or whatever you have nearby you. Maybe a store with people instead of fields with demons.)

There's no way I'd play Ys Online, even though it is "Ys."

There's no way I'd play Ys Online, even though it is "Ys." I would. I mean, only if you just had to buy the game and that's all (instead of paying for it forever, like Ragnarok or World of Warcraft. That kind of thing is "thiefery"! )

There's no way I'd play Ys Online, even though it is "Ys." But if the game will be released in the form of a package, you would at least still buy it to your collection? Yes. It'd probably be free to play for a month as well. I'd probably play it for a while at least.

Seems funny. I wonder if we'll run around and level on Crabs, Wolves or Hemoroids.. I hope it'll be fun!

Well, that sounds great to me! Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated by all of us here. By the way, are you going to play it?

Thanks for the trailer! It certainly looks intriguing, and I like the arrangement of "The Morning Grow" (Glow) there. I don't know if I'd play it, even if it was available to me, but you never know.

Awesome stuff, se210. Thanks a lot for the info and the trailer. Edit: Whoooaaahh!! I LOVE the music in this trailer! Especially the second song! The trailer doesn't show much, but it doesn't look like your standard generic MMORPG (Silkroad, Rappelz, etc). Kinda promising.

Wow, a very cool trailer! Thanks se210 for it and the infos! ^^
"The Call of Solum", eh? Maybe "Solum" was meant to be "Solomon"?
Also, I'm not very sure about the game...Hope it is for free to play. =X

I'll probably buy it if there's some bonus incentive in the game package like an artbook or a soundtrack cd or if the game will have some sort of tie-in to the actual series. If it's like Ys Strategy where it's just set in the same universe and doesn't make sense canon-wise I'll probably give it a pass unless there's some really strong incentive.

I'll play it if its an action mmorpg... Sadly those don't exsist yet... If its just another mmorpg with a dull combat engine that has me watch and wait as oppose to react and rely on my reflexes, I don't see what it will have to offer that makes it stand out above all the other mmorpgs out there.
They need a solid action MMORPG, I hope this is it.

Well, it has a pretty take on the Ys logo.... Personally I just wanna know if the music is any good, since the game pretty much looks like every other Asian-developed MMORPG out there in the world...

From the looks of the trailer, the music seems good. For me it was ok. 'o.o
Ugh, I can't download it. I can't find the link in the download section and it seems I don't have full access of the site. It's looking like I have to register or something...all of that might take a while.
3/23/07 seems to be the release date. ~It's what says in the bottom of the page. Also looks like there are "2 version". Each with different sizes (500MB and the other seems to be 1GB...xD I'm in need of help with korean here).
Looks you can choose up to 3 races and a few classes per race. Also male/female enabled. (From the looks of it...I can't really confirm anything xD)
Did anyone discover anything? o.o I'm quite excited to try this soon!...
