It seems that falcom has some Ys Figures 4000Yen, that's around USD$40 not to shabby, but is it for one statue or is that the complete set? and does any of you know a US/European site that has them? click here for the mailorder website.

You get the complete set for 4000yens. Just send a mail to Falcom : nihon@falcom.co.jp and tell them "Hello I want the Ys figures. My adress is : ******* credit card : Mastercard/visa/etc.. number : ****-****-****-**** expiration date : **/**" and wait for the reply. They won't take the money until you accept their first answer, where they'll give you the total price (shipping fees included)

You can't buy Ys Complete Works, it was part of the limited edition of YsVI only. Other than that, buying YsVI for PC now is not a particulary good move - the PS2 version is a better way to go, besides, rumor has it it will be released in europe sometime in April!!

How long does it take for Falcom to restock? It seems they sold out of those.
BTW to anyone who has them, were they worth purchasing? In other words, are the figures well detailed?

As I know Falcom, they don't restock. Once their stuff's sold out, they never sell them again. Of course, this is not the case with their later games, etc.

In case anyone is still interested, you can also buy the figures from this site...at a good price too. LinkEdit: Changed a horribly long URL into a clickable link button (was scretching the screen).

I just got my set, as well as the Suikoden figures as well, great timing on Falcom & Konami's part, with Ys as my favorite series, & Suikoden my 2nd fav, all I need now is for someone to do figs of Lunar. I wouldn't mind it if Falcom did a few more, say, Dogi, Goban, Dark Fact, Eldeel, Chester, Elena, Leeza, Karna, Terra, Geis, Ernst, Leo, & Terra's dad(can't remember his name). That would rock if they did some/all of those! Another interesting note, on the boxes, it says Reah(Lair) & Feena are from Ys 1, 2, & 4, but if I remember correctly, they weren't in Mask of the Sun, but they WERE in Dawn of Ys. I just found that kinda intersting

i thought the same thing, i know alot of people say that Ys 4 Dawn of Ys is not canon and Mask of the Sun is . i think they both are official and accepted, even though DOY was made by Hudson Soft i am pretty sure it was designed by Falcom and simply programed by Hudson Soft to save money on Falcoms part, if that is the case that would make it truly official . also my official Ys V guide near the back chronicles all the Ys games made they show all the different versions of the games, but do not mention Mask of the Sun either (even though it was out for quite some time) and only focus on the DOY so it really makes you wonder if the DOY is more canon than the MOTS and not the other way around.

:)Wait, it doesn't mention MOTS, but it does mention DOY?? That's just wierd! Still, there's a book, I always forget the name, but it's some kind of Ys Bible or something, & it apparently clearly has MOTS as the true sequal, with a little mention of DOY. I don't know, maybe if they redo DOY, then it can be considered cannon!

If they are remaking Ys: The Dawn of Ys (it's a rumor but it is very likely) I'd say they are remaking DOY because MOTS has already been released (in 3D) for PS2. It would be sorta repeditive with another MOTS. (I know there's a recent remake of YsIII, and YsF is coming up, but I think YsF will be different from YsIII in many ways).

i myself would rather have a remake of the DOY. even if MOTS deserves a better remake to make up for the PS2 version, i like DOY better as a game and story. i still cannot play through the SFC version of the game and the PS2 version does not sound to much better. if i am going to spend $70.00 on a PC game i want to get the most of my money and play a game that i am going to want to sit through. if falcom went back and redesigned the DOY to look and play like Ys III OIF and Ys 6 it would be incredible. keeping my fingers crossed
