Yep, RTS is basically Team Cyclops' version of save states. My CycloDS is equipped with a Sandisk 8GB microSDHC (~$25 on Amazon right now!) filled with about 160 GBA games, and 120 DS games.
Running GBA games, dumping GBA/DS ROMs from retail carts, and extracting GBA/DS saves from retail carts all require a compatible slot 2 (GBA) expansion cart. The only one fully and natively supported by the CycloDS is the EZV 3-in-1 expansion which triples as a RAM expansion pak (for the DS Opera Browser and select homebrew apps), a Rumble Pak with 3 strength levels (for compatible DS games), and, of course, a GBA flashcart for loading up GBA ROMs and homebrew.
RealHotStuff.com sells a combo pack that includes the CycloDS Evolution (white or black) and the EZV 3-in-1 (white, black, or DS phat) for about $72. That's a pretty damn good deal.

unfortunately, no. But i will post screens very soon. If you want to help translating the next script file, which is everything in Daam/Dahm, please translate this spread sheet for us, and the romhacking will start very soon. spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pOGRUiJEHNTRnatIchTeKKQ&hl=enAll of the other script files have been sent to a native japanese speaker, and this translator will give us the file when done translating. that means that we can quickly put it together and will release a beta patch. We are thinking of releasing this patch to a limited number of trusted people who can give us some suggestions if the translated story flows well, look for grammatical errors and typos, errors that "stand out", etcetera. Though, I believe that everybody here has played this game in a different version and should know how the story flows. That is why I am thinking of releasing the patch to everybody here when done. And I would NOT want any comments that has to do anything with deuce's translation - remember, this is a complete NEW translation, not a translation port.

Awesome to see it in motion, but yeah, doesn't give us much to go by. Definitely didn't get a sense of the quality of the translation, at all.
I'd be thrilled to help beta test it, for what it's worth. I am (or was, I suppose) part of Nightwolve's beta team, having participated in Ys I, Ys II, and Ys OiF.

i've skipped through the text quickly and only talked to 3 of the non-important NPCs because of multiple reasons: 1. To reduce spoilers 2. File size
the main intention of this video was for "proof" and a quick way of telling you that I was done with that portion.

True, but if its a game I have never played I want to experience the opening hours in total silence, and at my own pace. I dread games that take FOREVER to get going, you know?

Current progress: Main menu graphics - 40% Main menu text, including place names when you load/save - 0% Items and descriptions - 100% Names - 100% Sign posts - 100% Extra messages, such as "It is locked" - 100% Extra texts - 0% Main game script - 1/8 files Texts on the bottom screen - 0% as you can see, the sign posts have been completed. In the PC trans, the translator used krimeyle and meyle in the signposts, which are distances used in game. For our translation, we are going to change it to be meters and kilometers. 88版ボツセリフ this is the only "extra" extra text that we couldn't figure out. the translators says it's not a japanese word, and they need in game reference. But as you can see, the main menu graphics are a pain in the ass are translate so it's only in the 40% mark, where only "multiplayer" and "time attack" has been translated. there are 3 more graphics in the mode choosing part, where you choose to play with the touch screen or with the buttons. In the in-game menu, there are 2 more texts to translate, but they have graphic effects that we can't totally mimic, so It can kinda look bad if we change that text. So on top of those letters in the in game menu, we are planning to put the translated text on top of it. I was unable to locate any text in the bottom screen, so I'm guessing it's compressed or in a different script file. Once we get those problems out of the way, only the script remains and we have 1 more problem - the font. We have 3 fonts to choose from. Font 1 is a VERY small font as I have described. the second font file is the same font that was used in-game, but with the width of the font edited to fit more text in the limited space. the last font file is almost done, which is a font that I have completely remade So once the fonts are done, i'll post some screens using each one and you guys can help me choose.

I'm thinking of changing the logo screen (the screen with actimagine, falcon etc) into the romhacker's names (well me and another) and the translator's names. if this game has some kind of credits that seems easy to translate, then I might add other names there too...

Get rid of the logos? I don't know if I like that...

Ive seen it before many times, but I suggest adding instead of taking away. Don't pull the company that made the game off the main logo, but instead add yours. Anime fansubbers are almost professional in the way they do it, hell most of them mix there names into already existing credits.

Because there is another romhacker deufeufeu, who changed the nintendo logo and fit his own user name in it.

It would be better to just remove the logos and not replace them with anything. I hate logos when starting up games! I want to start the action immediately! I don't have a single second to spare!
Please don't put any garbage on the title screen. The YsF patch did that, it was horribly ugly and unproffesional. I instantly removed it, of course.

once I think of it, yeah... and I don't know much assembly to remove the logo screen, but at least more progression pics as you can see, the translated portion is the graphics up on the top parts. (It was hard to imitate the style...) And as you can notice, BAG has to actually be INVENTORY or EQUIP but there was a space limit in the graphics, so the graphic text can only be like 2 more pixels wider than the current "BAG" and I didn't know how to fit inventory or equip on there... so BAG was the conclusion...

Hey, FM, how did you remove the hacker's credits from YsF's title screen? I find it pretty ugly (ha), myself.

I like the font. And space limits are always a concern in any game translation. xD Oh well.
