So the story is kinda similar to the goonies, except with dark foes and concerning the holy grail as the prize. Sounds good, but I don't think mankind is ready to hold the holy cup yet. So is it like a prequel to the movie The dark is rising?
There was a book I read a long time ago called The Transell Saga.(Not much of a saga since its 2 to 3 hundred pages and is the same author of the Hatchet.) Its about a boy(forgot name, It was 8 years ago) who camps in a canyon and gets hurled into another dimension which is kinda a blend of tribal cannibilism, into a medievel theme, just with differentt names.

I never saw the movie or have read the books(too busy reading WH40K books) even when I saw the preview it didn't captivate me. What you just said might have been for the best . Sometimes the books are best stayed as books(Like Eragon) Or sometimes its the other way around (JR Tolkien books are hard to read for me, well except that was years ago when I read the hobit).

It sounds like a pretty good book, except with the Holy grail thing, that I did not like. Regardless, it still sounds nice. Is there anhthing supernatural about it? I hope not, because when it's like in The Goonies, which lacks supernatural things (although some are a little TOO advanced and far fetched - like that organ thing), it feel a lot more interesting and "real".
