That's a good thing! Hopefully that means people will buy a lot less gas, which is good for the enviroment. I honestly hope that gas prices will increase even more (which it will sooner or later, but I want it to happen sooner).
Aaaand this thread changes topic once again. Hopefully I'm not the only one who cares about the enviroment here.

*puts on his best hick accent* Dude, I think deet was outlawed, it kept killing bugs which birds ate, birds died which numerous other animals and insects ate, etc. etc. etc. -- it was a mess. X) Plus it messed with plants too. Not only was it bad for our food supply, but I think the government had a bit of foresight on this ordeal. See, I reckon they got rid of deet because it'd eventually kill all of the bugs, which means they wouldn't be getting much tax from the deet. So they made an investment in cheaper, slower ways of killing and repelling insects -- that way, there will always be bugs. Therefore, they'll always be getting tax money for repellents and insecticides. X) Make sense? Of course, only makes sense if you're an uneducated hick. Does anyone know the REAL reason why deet was put away? I've slept since then, so I don't remember what I read about it. Hoo boy. I would be going monkeynuts if I quit. Smoking for me is therapeutic; it relieves stress. I've felt better ever since my first. Sure, they make Wellbutrin, Depakote, Xanax, and all those other lame medications for people like me. The problem is, those medications are a temporary fix, are very expensive and don't work well at all. Why try something that doesn't work, and will eventually eat your liver, makes you extremely sick the first time you try it, etc.? Why not try something that does work, gives you one heck of a cough, causes Lung Cancer, Heart Disease, Emphysema, and may complicate pregnancy? I'll never get pregnant, so all that don't sound bad to me at all! Trust me, if I were on these forums prior to picking up my first pack, I would've driven everyone here much much crazier than I do now.

I used to think the same way, but quitting smoking was nothing like I thought it would be. When I get mad still I get a small craving sometimes, but it isnt worth it. Really the smoke stresses your body out physically, while mentally it is soothing.... how ironic.

For what? X) I'd totally quit if I had a very, very good reason. I clearly can't, won't, and refuse to do it for myself. Quitting's for quitters, man! XD

I smoked over a pack and a half a day (about 35 cigarettes). I had trouble falling asleep because I couldnt get enough air. I couldnt laugh anymore, and the cravings were really starting to affect my life. I would make choices based on whether i could smoke or not. I am damn glad I quit. Yeah I may be a quitter but it took some serious balls and a ton of fuckin willpower/patience.

Whoever made cigarettes mainstream needs to be resurrected and then killed. Again and again and again and again.
The stuff's just a legalized drug. I wonder why people don't look at it the same as they the illegal stuff.

(I mean, I can hardly imagine people guzzling liqour in Saudi Arabia..? ) Well... technically its banned but if you have a diplomatic card, or have the right contacts you can get access to it. (from 1930's gangsters! ) Er... not that I've ever tried that. X'D
