Hi, the name is Sardien. The reason for me joining here is quite a story, so I hope you're prepared to read!
When Gurumin was released I got interested in it, and checked the Gamefaqs board. The posts of an extremely nice guy named wyrdrad praising the game pushed me over the edge, and I bought it and loved it. After that I just kept running into him and his Falcom love on different boards. He too was hoping for an English version of Princess Crown, he too bought and read Brave Story and he too told me Black Bean really gives no rewards.
After all that I reckoned we had some similar tastes in gaming, and so rolled into Ys. I randomly jumped in at Oath in Felghana, and loved it so much. Then I found this place and the translation patches, and went hunting for Ys I & II Complete. I got a good deal for a used set on Ebay, and with the professional translation from Deuce and Nightwolve I enjoyed the game even more than Felghana.
And today, I join these forums as an Ys fan and admirer of Nihon Falcom. I feel like thanking Tom for that, as I probably would have overlooked the series if it wasn't for him hyping it everywhere

[Unrelated to above, I need some help from you guys. I'm really interested in Ys Origin, but I can't buy it directly from Falcom because I've only got Paypal. The only place that offers it seems to be this:

But, that's the Chinese version. Will there be any differences (extra disc features present?), or incompatibility with the (hopefully) upcoming translation patch?]
