I love how American primetime shows subtitle British people, or other very easy to understand accents. WTF? Are you serious!? ^O^ But aren't there various dialects though? Honestly though, sometimes, I wish Doctor Who episodes were subbed cuz at times, I really can't really make out what they're saying. ^^; I guess there's always the DVDs! XD

The only British shows I did watch are some of the old ones, like Black Adder, Monty Python etc. Harder to understand than American speech, but I manage to catch what they're saying after awhile.

Awww man Dr. Who is the shit!!! I want those on DVD big time. Too bad they're expensive as hell! >:( Ah~~~~~ British comedies. I should spend some crazy moneys and get me those Q.I. (Quite Interesting) DVDs. I think they actually put out season 2 finally. >_> Well, not that it's actually considered comedy (I think) but it can sure get hilarious.

What the fuck is wrong with you guys, beer is the shit!!!!! I love getting home from a hard days work, cracking a cold one, and posting my ass off on the forum. One of the best ways to whined down when the day is done. for people that do physical labor all day liqure is great stuff for relaxing muscles and helping with nerve issues. I like rum myself. mixes well with many things.

Hey, it's not all about gambling and getting your bone on with filthy broads! Only mostly. I'm more interested in the spectacle. There seems to be no place else on the planet that's so bright, so obnoxious, so... fake. I have to see it once! And get really sloppy and do many things I'll likely regret! Okay, so maybe it's a little about the debauchery. he he he... vegas is a dandy place. it just depends what you are there for. i am there typically to escape working on my weekends. very cheep to go there from here. vegas fake.... my advice want to see what vegas is about. just go 1 mile off the strip in any direction. Lets see how long you survive then. to top it off try makeing it at nite... seriously the place is about survival if you get of the strip.

I am a Scotch man by preference. My old man loves rum, and I just cannot stand it.

I am a Scotch man by preference. My old man loves rum, and I just cannot stand it. I use rum as a mixer. goes well with the fruit mixers like malibu punch. Also goes well with grape soda. it usually helps with foot problems or muscle strains. I like the fact that they are free in vegas. usually helps pass the week. What is scotch like and does it mix well?

Oh scotch is not a mixing drink. Its great neat or with a few ice cubes, and it likes to sneak up on you so try not to drink too much. Its an acquired taste, but well worth it. There is 2 kinds of scotch, Blended and Single Malt (which is the premium kind) and its very nice for an after dinner drink.

*laughs* It really can. ^_^ I don't watch much TV, but my father was obsessed with Q.I. and insisted that I watch it too. It's absolutely one of the funniest things I've ever seen... =X Oh man. One of my all-time faves was from season 1, episode 2 (I think) where the question was like: "Where, according to scientists, is 90% of the universe located?" And the answer given by the person that rang in was "Ikea". And then Alan Davies had to go on and explain why that was. ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I just burst out laughing. I had to pause the video and laugh it out before continuing. Another one in the same season but different episode had a question about CB Fry but the panel was much more interested in the fact that the guy was able to leap backwards onto a mantlepiece. Ah, such fun memories. I love Q.I.~

Oh woah. Thought of another quirk!
I have an irrational aversion to the Dragon Quest series! I won't play the games because I ABHOR Toriyama's artwork.
And slimes aren't cute.
Except in the Rocket Slime DS game which is the same damn slime design anyway!
... Don't ask how I manage to differentiate between the regular enemy slimes and a game full of slimes.
Also don't ask how I managed to play through Chrono Trigger several times even with the Toriyama hate.

I can't believe you all hate Toriyama's stuff.... the guy is a genius in my eyes. He was able to chisel out his own style in an art form that is very generic.

See I find that stuff to be totally bluuuugh. Its all in personal opinion I guess, I just love his style big time. I associate it with so many things that I rate highly on my list of things I like. Chrono Trigger, Dragon Ball, Dr Slump, Dragon Quest are all major favorites to me.

Chrono Trigger's art, despite OBVIOUSLY being from Toriyama, is somehow much better than his other work. Like, I seriously think Chrono Trigger's character designs - every one of them - are among Toriyama's best works of all time. I've always said the same thing. Not quite sure what it is that sets his Chrono Trigger designs apart... I think it may be that the characters are better distinguished from each other, or simply that the break from one of his standard series allowed him to get a little more creative.

I actually really like Toriyama's works. REALLY like! But oddly enough, I can't stand his designs for Dragon Ball. And so... never been able to watch that. And I think slimes are cute! Adorable little blue blobs of... something! :'D (Ok, so they come in different colours, but the weakest slimes are the cutest!)
