That doesn't sound healthy. People need to stop being so materialistic.

I hate it when you're trying to cross a street, and the "walk" signal suddenly goes out before you're even half-way across! I can't stand it, as Atlanta drivers seem to drive out into the road immediately when the signal changes to stop.

I wish I lived in England or Hungary where the Drivers have the right of way. Stupid teen kids dont even use the crosswalks. They walk half way out then walk up the damn road, fucking layabouts!!! And don't even get me started on old ladies and their walkers.... I should make a crazy taxi mod.

Oh how I hate it when the light turns green when one is in the middle of the street. Ofcourse, the light being green doesn't really matter much when one is in Lahore, since NO ONE follows the traffic laws there! Crossing the streets be a true trial! Worst is, there are a lot of rude, crude drivers there and the moment they see a lady cross a street the damned fools speed up their accursed cars! Fools! Its like they've taken the holy oath to run over each and every woman over! And I hate dust too. But since my windows are so huge (from the floor to the ceiling), I've kind of just... given up on it. Hem... I can't believe I forgot this, but one of my biggest peeves, one which would rival my psychotic-ness over bad spellings/typing is if some person comes up to me and declares '...You play GAMES? When on earth are you going to grow up?! Kids stuffs!' ...Silly I know, but I still feel like slapping the person for some reason.

All this rage that I've built up all this time!!!! I can release it all over there and HIT EVERY SINGLE STUPID IDIOT THAT CROSSES THE STREETS WHEN THEIR LIGHT IS RED. Sweet sweet revenge. Certainly, I can enjoy it while in jail. And more on crazy traffickness: I really really really hate it when lights turn red EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE NO CARS OR PEDESTRIANS WAITING AT THE LIGHTS. Whoever put timers on those damn lights need to die.

Oh, umm...this is kind of a difficult thread for me. I don't really get angry with people very easily. It's not really a good thing, mind. ^^; I just...still tend to think that everything is my fault. If people make mistakes, I apologise. If people say nasty things to me, I just tell myself that they're being honest, and that I should work toward being a better person. And if people snap at me, I always assume that I must somehow have provoked them. I've gotten a little better with it over the last couple of years, but I still tend to let people run all over me, and I still find it really difficult to ever just dislike someone or something, even if I really should. I suppose that in itself is kind of a peeve for me. ^^ I wish that I didn't have to be so...well...spineless?
Still...um...let me think... People who are really, really arrogant, I guess? I don't like anyone who believes themselves to be better than others without a very good reason. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Everyone is good at some things, and bad at others. I don't see why being more talented than someone else in just a single field ever gives you the right to devalue them completely as a person.
Besides that, people who lash out at their loved ones, and never even take the time to apologise afterwards? When I was still kind of young, my mother had a bit of a drinking problem. Of course that makes it sound a lot more severe than it actually was, but... She'd come home drunk pretty often. And when she was drunk, she'd say some mean things.
I know that everyone gets stroppy sometimes, and everyone says things that they don't really mean. And it's natural for the people you end up hurting the most often to be the ones you spend the most time with, and the ones you care about most. Still...I don't think it's so difficult just to take the time to say sorry afterwards? It's not always necessary, but it goes a long way towards repairing bruised feelings...
What else...? Maybe people who are cruel to animals? I get just as upset watching people hurt animals as I do watching people hurt other people. Especially when they act as if it's something so trivial and inconsequential. I'm not talking about animals being reared on farms, and eventually slaughtered for meat. I'm a vegetarian, but I still understand that such things are largely necessary, and if they're done in humane circumstances, I don't think they're so bad. I'm just talking about...completely unprovoked acts of cruelty. I remember reading in the newspaper about two boys who had microwaved a kitten. It was absolutely horrific, and the worst thing was that they seemed to show no remorse whatsoever. No grasp of how utterly disgusting and wrong their actions had been...

I actually cannot stand anyone being cruel to animals. It upsets me far, far more even than watching people hurt other people! Hate the idiots who throw stones at poor cats and dogs for fun. X( (to the point that it usually makes me put all awkwardness aside and give the other person a piece of my mind) The worst for me though was when I learnt I had to kill a poor squirrel to make my brush! And this irritates me greatly too. Just apologizing can make things so much better. But it seems like people have just kind of... forgotten about this little thing. And its no use when they apologize after you tell them they could have apologized! But actually I don't get upset/hate people very easily. They have to work very hard and very persistantly at being annoying for me to truly dislike them.

I've always been kinda confused when people get more offended by animals being hurt than people being hurt.
Not trying to rag on you all, mind, or say you're awful people, because I am pretty sure most of you probably wouldn't want to see a person get malnourished or kicked or something. Maybe it's because we'll probably encounter more animal cruelty in our own lives than cruelty toward people?

I dunno. It's pretty terrible to see a human being get abused, too. And that's not something most of us get to see, what with our civilizations and moralities and suchlike.

(to the point that it usually makes me put all awkwardness aside and give the other person a piece of my mind) *nods* Me too. ^^; But people usually just end up laughing. I'm not the sort of person that says much of anything, so angry rants are...a little out of the blue? I guess I'm maybe a little too mild mannered to pull off something like that... But actually I don't get upset/hate people very easily. They have to work very hard and very persistantly at being annoying for me to truly dislike them. Mmhm~ I was having a sleepover with some friends about a month ago, and they spent a large part of the night browsing MySpace, and laughing at people they didn't know based solely on their profile pictures and blurbs. I felt really bad... I mean...I admit that some of the things there made me cringe a little, but... I'm sure all the people were really pretty nice? I don't know. I really don't feel right doing things like that. I feel as if I shouldn't really say anything against anyone without...pretty good cause... I've always been kinda confused when people get more offended by animals being hurt than people being hurt. Oh, no, it's just...pretty much the same to me. What really upsets me is the way that a lot of people act like unprovoked violence or cruelty towards an animal is somehow more excusable than it is against a human. I think...if you intend to hurt another living creature, great or small, you'd better have a good reason. Man, we have such nice girls on this board. Seriously! You would all make perfect Ys heroines. (*runs and hides*) *laughs* But aren't half of them goddesses, priestesses, and any number of inbetweens? ^_~

I've always been kinda confused when people get more offended by animals being hurt than people being hurt. No actually, unlike Elin, I do prefer defending animals over humans. Half of it is the defenseless innocence factor that wyrdwad pointed out. I can't stand seeing someone picking on anyone/anything weaker, lower than themselves. (Actually, at that point, I think I might feel the same with humans - I can't stand those lordly fat ladies who mistreat their maids! [Or even with animals beating up animals! No cat bullies my little wimpy darlings! I shall chase them around the neighbourhood if they do that!]) But see, people can be mean, cruel, lecherous, racists, and if I come across one such person I really wouldn't mind them being kicked right where it hurts them. One doesn't feel much sympathy for the people on the streets when they throw stones at you just because you're a girl walking alone, leer at you, make lewd remarks or even try to reach out and grab at you. (Lahori streets.... argh!) I think the ultimate for me was when I got my own personal stalker. -___-' Wheeee... And these are the very people who also throw stones at poor defenseless kittens and puppies!

Work up that blood pressure by shaking your fist at other drivers! Giving 'em the flip bird! Screaming at them! If you had sticks of dynamite, you could light them and throw it at them too! But, it's much more fun to go all crazy mad in GTA3 instead. :/
