i just recently bought Ys Complete Book I and II, and been trying to install it on my PC useing windows XP. But when ever i load the CD in the disk drive, it won't read the disk, so i can't even install it. I also tried to use my lap top that has Vista, but it comes out with a tiny screen, horride frame rate, and other problems
any help in why i can't load the disk on to my PC would be most helpful

if you got the most recent Vista Capable version of the game (says so on the package) then they are DVD-ROMS and not CD-ROMs. if that's not it, then maybe time for a new DVD-ROM?

I never heard of someone having such a problem with Ys I.II COMPLETE (if that's the game you tried to refer to).
Weird stuff. Well, have you ever tried the demo of the game? If you don't encounter the same problems with the demo, something is fishy: either with your optical media drive. your game, your computer settings or something else.

i tried the demo, and it worked flawlessly, so i suppose its something to do with how the disks are encrypted and how my CD drive reads them. TYVM for the help so far btw ^_^
