Once again, it's another rap bandit fiendin at I and I can't stand it Wanna be down with the day-glo knockin on my door sayin "hey yo yo" Knockin on my door sayin "hey yo yo, I got a funky new tune with a fly banjo!" I can't understand what their problem is I find it hard enough dealin' with my own biz How'd they get my name and number? I stand alone, don't need anyone 'Cause I'm Rob, just came to have fun Don't need friends that act like foes 'Cause I'm Rob Base, the one who knows About things that make ya get weary Don't cheer me, just hear me Out 'cause I got the clout--shout (Ho!) Before I turn the party out I won't stutter-- Project my voice, speak clearly So you can be my choice On stage or on record Go to the Wiz and select it Take it off the rack, if it's wack put it back I like the Whopper, fuck the Big Mac If you want static, so let's go So, throw up your hands Go for what you know Bro', I got an ego Yo, talkin' to me? No,Oh 'Cause Rob is in the front, EZ Rock is on the Back up We're not soft, so you better just slack up 'Cause I'm cool, calm just like a breeze Rock the mike with the help of EZ Rock on the set, the music plays Only cuts the records that I say

Greatest song I have ever heard eh? I'd have to choose...I can't just choose 1...;p
But if I had to...
Tonight, Tonight - Smashing Pumpkins. That song just solidified their position on my top artists list. I mean, the entire Siamese Dream album as well as Adore and Machina, but that song and well the entire Mellon Collie album just bring back so many memories from that period in my life.(mid-90's:p)

Tell me, which is the greatest, and then I mean GREATEST song you've ever heard. I am not completely sure which mine is, but that'd be "The moor" by Opeth. But I am tired of that one. But it is still excellent. For the moment, I like "Jester script transfigured" by In flames a lot. (Again). Advent by Opeth became one of my all time favorite songs (I think it's off Morningrise), once I got used to the vocals. For some reason, I've got a thing for songs that go on forever. Moonshield and Trigger by In Flames are classics as well! I'd say my favorite song would be between Eulogy by Tool, the famous live version of Stay by Jackson Browne, Fire and Rain by James Taylor, Here We Go Again by Everclear, and Feast of Burden by Dark Tranquillity. Tough to say which is the best, thanks to unshakable nostalgia!

"The feast of burden begins!" - actually, I think Dark Tranquillity has been boring ever since they made Haven. Although Character was pretty good. The Mind's I is still my favorite by Dark Tranquillity.

Everyone missed the rock classic: Stairway to Heaven - Led Zepplin Greatest rock song ever played! P.S. the concert version is much better than the record version.

Can't pick just one, but got it narrowed down to my top two. Kansa - Dust in the Wind and... The Real Folk Blues

One - Metallica
So good, it always deserves 2 plays instead of one.

Justin's diggin' up some bones here! This thread is over 3 years old! DDDDDDDD:!!!!!!!!
There is no greatest song that I have heard because there's always new music being pumped out! :B
New music = new discoveries which may = a new greatest song! The cycle is unending!

Anyone who can name a single greatest song is a fool and a blaggard who needs to listen to more music. This song is cool

Tis not the single greatest song by no means, but from what I have heard, I sure think it is. There is always new music to be discovered, and new genres to enjoy. I have oddly been into Jazz as of late.

*steps out to smoke* Maybe if I quit, but I'm not too concerned. I don't smoke because I think it's cool. Infact, I don't smoke for any reason than this: It's stress relief. That's what got me started smoking, was so I could get stress relief. Otherwise, case in point, I'd bite off more heads daily than I have monthly here. // There is no greatest song; therefore, there is no post. // I don't care that it's unhealthy -- if I die before I'm 50, good. I want life to be short.

Hmm... I have a few Greatest songs i have ever heard.
Three Doors Down - Here Without You Three Days Grace - Never Too Late Oasis - Wonderwall Sick Puppies - All The Same Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside Daughtry - Its Not Over Aerosmith - Cryin' Low Level Flight - Say
and so forth...
I guess I like mostly the sad songs because I am a pretty broken down person so I can relate to them. But I also think these kinds of songs truly are special because it is very personal. In a way, listening to just a few of the songs mentioned does give me stregnth.
