Still annoyed my guide kept getting rejected and now, there's a walkthrough up with materials information but they're in the walkthrough proper and only listed at each location as harvest points so it's not a handy, separate insta-reference file!

Yep, they do give negative stats but the damage you do depends on how many enemies has that certain character slain. So the real damage can quite a lot higher with some characters, but if you haven't killed a single enemy with the character then his/her Devil Arms will suck  Every kill adds a bit more damage. As a result Lloyd damage gets quite high since he is the most common character to play with which means his attacks will become deadly once you get the completed Devils Arms  |
