Where everything started...
So... 3 floppy discs..? Is this the Windows version?

I thought the original came out on the pc 8801 and was later ported to the other japanese pcs.

No. It's the FM-Towns (an old Japanese computer) version of the original LoH game, ported by Falcom themselves a year latter at 1990. I'll have to use an FM-Towns emulator in order to play it. That, or just play the TG-16 CD version in English  |

Silly me, it's obviously written on the bottom... I didn't know this system so I mistakenly took it for something else, my bad.

Hey, an unused User Disk label.  Whoever owned that game previously didn't want to use that on their User Disk (=originally a blank 3.5" 2HD disk). Did your copy came with a labelless 4th disk then, or does it use some homemade label? Nope, just three HD disks:  Thank you |

Has anybody played Illusion City by Microcabin? It looks really cool! What version should I play?
Also, I'm thinking to register myself on Project EGG. Any tips guys?

I didn't play Illusion City yet, but I can confirm it has awesome music. EGG rules! It's only around $5.75 USD per month to subscribe, and you have access to their Falcom Museum, which includes the PC98 LoH IV, which rules beyond the rulesphere. Hell, pretty much all of Falcom's earliest games.
Buying from EGG Music is also great, and doesn't require a subscription. There is a fantastic selection of OSTs there.

oh yeah! LoH I rules! Nice purchase! I've said for years it has the most classic soundtrack of all time. The score is just perfection. Man, I love it.
