I've played through both scenarios of Brandish: The Dark Revenant at 100%, Brandish SNES and Brandish 2. I own all of them, and I own a few PC-98 machines of which I was hoping to play through Brandish 3 Renewal, but my keyboard doesn't work too well. Probably won't find a cheap replacement for it until our next Japan trip most likely. Haven't played much of VT or BR4 yet, but I've been really hoping that a translation for both of them would be completed some day. I love Brandish! And nice find on that Ys III Eternal MP83! That looks fun to play actually. Reminds me of Ys III mixed with Psychic World for Game Gear's square-ish screen. : ) Pretty fast paced for a small mobile app too! -Thomas |

Yes, I clearly remember your Brandish collection...  You still need to get Brandish 2 Renewal though! Aww, that sucks. Couldn't you just play Brandish 3 via emulator and then, once you get a new keyboard, replay it with a different character (Jinza looks very cool) on the real thing? I've only played Brandish: The Dark Revenant (almost 100% in my Ares run, need to beat Dela mode) and Brandish 2 SFC (twice -- I streamed a second playthrough). Been playing lately Brandish 3, but I don't think this (for now) will top Brandish 2 for me  . I've been thinking about making a FAQ about Brandish 3, so more non-japanese speakers can play it too. I also want to both beat and stream a full playthrough Brandish SNES -- currently at Ruins B7 (I think) and it's much playable than what I thought reading the HG101 article (we seriously need to revamp that article!). BTW, my Brandish collection will soon grow! Just wait man! |

Yep I agree GMF. It's easily the best versions I've heard in awhile of the Dr. Wily State music and boss battle themes. : )
