Well, their PC88 and PC98 emulation isn't actually that bad from what I remember, but they do have less features. The SFC emulation is the worst by far, though. The whole membership fee made me avoid it at first, but now-so even more. I'm curious what a good alternate for PC88/98 emulation is though.

I made a 4 minute recording of that song! Now I've heard it 80 times now!

Just came across this on ebay. Granted the seller states it's unfinished this think looks like garbage. The case looks unsalvageable to me, the control stick is loose, and the holes in the case are poorly done. I give the seller props on trying to use a projector instead of an lcd screen but I don't see how that would turn out well. The system is the controller so every time you move the controller you'll be messing up the projection

Spent my weekend in Düsseldorf, which has many Japanese stores with piles of Japanese manga. The only game related stuff was Hyrule Historia and some Assassin's Creed figurines. I did spot this, though: Not that I didn't loot anything.

Perhaps I should update my backloggery... Wonder when the next big Falcom announcement will be, Trails 2 is good and all but something else would be welcome, more Brandish, Ys...something?

Hmmm... I'm thinking that the time for both a bandcamp site and a kickstarter are coming up soon. I think funding my project through both could be beneficial. I also feel like my soundtrack needs to be remastered, and that with a kickstarter, I can afford to have someone go through and rework everything. Now that I've switched over to a new computer, the modcat VST instrument (which is used in only a couple of songs) doesn't work anymore. On the other hand, I should probably wait to start a kickstarter, eh? I mean, normally there's a decent demo or video accompanying these kinds of things, right?
// Indeed. A video will raise my chances by 20%. A remastered album in lossless flac (replacing the original MP3 format) could be a backer reward, as well as printed copies of the game and album, scans of design sketches, a digital design collage, etc. ... pricing TBD, with scaling and inclusive rewards -- I.E. sketches for $5, previous rewards and album for $10, previous rewards and game for $15, previous rewards and limited print copies of the game for $25, etc.
// On the other hand, I need to get the project *mostly done* before starting a kickstarter. I don't want to make a deadline if it's not 100% ready. I may prefer to start with bandcamp for funding.

Awesome! Sorry I could not be there this time. My routine lately has been working and sleeping, with bits of Legionwood in between.
