Yeah I guess it would work, problem is its going to look uneven with the foil layer that came from the factory.

Its mostly for the cut out parts with the scratches when you cut it out with the sprue. I was thinking of using a little plasti putty then paint over with redmetallic gloss. will that work?

Yeah I don't see why it wouldn't..... try this stuff out if you can find it www.hlj.com/product/TAMTS-18In essence, you will have to sand off all the parts a bit, and then spray this on VERY EVENLY. It will get rid of all the scratches, but in the end will paint over the factory foil. If you want to use just a bit of it, spray into a bottle/cup/vial and use brushes to paint over the black. I ran into the exact same problem with some Gundam crowns, as they are mostly gold, and when cutting them it shows the black plastic. I just painted over the whole piece, but honestly its up to you.

Well I found some paint, it'll come in the mail eventually. Sorry that I haven't posted for a while, after going back to college everything gets done slower. I've also haven't been playing a lot of video games lately either. Will try to post pics of models later until the paint arrives, I promise especially after cleaning up the room.

This crazy hobby shop 20 blocks from my house had them. I think they are online too, but they only made the 4 Gundams to my knowledge.
They do look pretty weird when they are all done hey, thats what made me want to buy them in the first place. I've never seen any other ones like them.

Crazy man, never seen anything like it. I could see the interior and it comes with character stands. Whats your hobby shop like, just curious? I remember you were talking about Macross models earlier, if you want you could post those as well since I'm a fan of macross as well. Should have called this thread the mecha showcase.

Oh I have yet to build those ones. Well I have 5 stores that I frequent.
The first is right around the corner from my house, but they only carry Nascar stuff, and model supplies. Its kinda just for picking up paint when I run out.
The second is a model/toy shop that carries different paint, and great sprays, but its kinda far.
The 3rd is a shop in China town, but they mostly carry anime, and the guy that works there is "the best at everything" so I dont go there much
The 4th is another Gundam model store in China town and its THE BEST. All his prices are 20% cheaper than everyone else, plus he is really nice, and gives great tips.
The 5th is the one I picked up the clear versions from. It is called PM Hobbies and ITS BIG. Almost the size of a small grocery store, as they carry absolutely everything that has to do with hobby.

Since I live in the middle of nowhere, there is only like two stores. The first just sell trains, the second sells wargame models which I seldom visit to play warhammer, and the last one is the only place in the whole area that still sell gundam models, and even now I doubt they still sell. I used to go there a lot when I was younger when I was crazed over gundams and now while thinking about it I feel like I got ripped off cause the models were ridiculously more expensive than their worth. On the upside they did have some good selection like they had a Full Zeong and Seed models with the mobile armor attached to them. Of Course their still expensive but its the only way we could have got them.

Just going to say that I always love seeing the new models posted here even though I couldn't name them if my life depended on it. Oh, and that metallic red is amazing I barely know any of the names either. The Gundam franchise has been around for almost thirty-forty years and every series shows more than 20 different ms. Even the ones I thought were the name was wrong to. What I like about gundam though is the fact that most of the names are original, you'll never see any others franchise carrying names like Zaku, dom, or gelgoog. Everything else kind of try to be original but most of them take names from myths and religious backgrounds. There is like 10 or more shows or games that use the name Ragnarok in it. Putting the decals on was hard, most of the little ones didn't survive and the paint didn't work cause it wiped offed the metallic base. Sorry again that it took so freakin long, I'm always so busy right now and everything seems so boring to me. Nothing seems to wow me as much anymore, but I'm turning around. I'll try to get more models later and finish painting Games Workshop models and Take pictures of old Work. Man the ending of Code Geass R2 was sad, man I'm going to have problems sleeping tonight.

Actually, the Gundam franchise has been around for almost thirty years, the original came out in 1979. Anyways, great job on Sazabi! Also, here's one old build: Strike Freedom Gundam HG And one new build: Zeta Plus C1 MG I'll put Wing KA & F91 up as soon as I'm done with them.

I grabbed some stands for both my wing Gundams so Ill post those tomorrow. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them. They are only $10 bucks a pop, and you can do so much with your Gundams.
