Let's talk about weird experiences~!
20+ years ago (uh, yeah, it's really been that long. ^^), when I was coming back into the house from playing outside, a DOG ran past me and into the family room! ^^;
Of course, the dog's owner went in to get the dog out. :P
My mom had a weird experience a few years back too! I wasn't with her when this happened but I still remember it till this day! Basically, she was driving to the store or something and it was pouring outside. At a stoplight, a complete stranger just opened the door to the passenger side and jumped in to get shelter from the rain. o_O;
The person asked to be dropped off at the next light and my mom did that. ^^
It's because I remember this story that I keep the doors locked whenever I'm driving. :P

I was 12, and locked out of the house. A cop came and I sat in the car until my family got back. A bird flew in one window and out the other.
Edit: Thank god both windows were open. XD Would've scared the cop half to death if one of the windows were shut.
Edit 2: Nevermind the poor bird, who would've been a real-life enactment of those windex commercials.

Hah. xD Almost an year ago, I was waiting for a bus in a bus stop point. I was in a hurry. The bus finally appeared! But it ignored me shamelessly. I was yelling "Hey! You! Damn! Bastard!" Right after it, a Taxi SUDDENLY got off the avenue and quickly stopped the car in front of me. The Taxi driver shouted to me something like "Yeah, those fucking bastards who leave people behind like that are assholes! C'mon, let's go reach them in the next bus stop!!" The man was waving to me. I was shocked since this was one of these sudden "WTF" moments, but I really was in a hurry and I quickly decided to accept the offer, even though there was a chance this guy could, dunno, be some random crazy guy/ killer driving a Taxi". I got in the car. The man quickly speeded up. I thought to myself "Shit, I'm gonna die today. Perhaps I'll have my organs ripped apart or something. Either way, I need to prepare myself psycologically in case it comes down to the worst." After less than a minutes, we could already see the bus. The traffic light was red and the bus had just stopped at the next bus stop point. The traffic light then became green, and the bus started to speed up. At that moment, the Taxi driver pratically threw his car in front of the bus and stopped there, unabling the bus to move. XDDDDDDD I just left the Taxi and said "Thanks!" after he told me there was no need (and time) to pay him for the quick ride. When I entered the bus. The driver looked me with a surprised "WTF" face, as well as everyone who was in the bus and saw me before when I yelled at it to stop. XD Then I just had a seat, and I stopped to think for a while. After that, I bursted into laughs. It was the craziest thing!!!

I love how your anecdote has the mention of the bird flying through the windows in such an after the fact way. ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
It was almost poetic. :O!
Oh man. Red's story was AWESOME. ^O^

The taxi driver seemed to have been a victim of many ignorings by bus drivers. I love how it seems like you guys pulled a full chase scene from an action movie only to... switch rides. XDDD

Yup, I thought that too. XD It was really hot pursuit, and could've fit perfectly in a Hollywood movie. In a way.

Haha, that's awesome indeed! Kind of a nice gesture on the part of the taxi driver too.
Alas, my reality is boring. I can't think of or recall anything truly strange happening to me. :\

Man, Red's story is awesome. Love to do something like that some day.
And hell, nunuu, same shit happened to me before! I was in my home when some dog just came into the living room! Only difference is, the damn mutt shat his stuff in my living room! My parents were dumbstruck.

The only time I've ever been in a car accident was on 9/9/99 while making a left turn onto 9th street. The report said it was my fault, but I think it's pretty obvious that there were cosmic forces at work.

Here's an oddity: Here's my LJ entry about why this is strange: "While removing the flower holder to my father's headstone with the intention to store it back into its hole, I noticed that there was a toad (or is it a frog?) just lying in the water inside. D: It's alive and I have no idea how it got there. I don't think someone just happened to put it there. >_> In the end, I simply replaced the flower holder in the upright position on top of the hole instead of putting it back in. I was thinking that I would deprive it of air otherwise. ^^"

When I was little, me and some friends found a dead frog stuck in a small metal pipe that stuck out of a rock. We moved it around with a stick and stuff, to see if it was REALLY dead. It was so dead. Totally dead. And we pushed it back into the pipe afterward (no idea why). Then we sat down and did something else, in the same spot. Then, after maybe fifteen minutes, it came back to life. Crawled out of the pipe. And jumped away. Those things REALLY know how to play dead.

Oh shit. At the immortal frog. Also I agree. xD Especially cockroaches, which almost literally revive themselves. If they are flat-smashed, they return to life or something a while after. Also once when I was in a land terrain of my friend, while we were escavating the ground with a hoe (yay, Harvest Moon xD), a dog that was keeping us company found a chicken nearby, and it totally attacked it. Bited it and shaked his head freakly. The chicken was left without any feathers, and seemed pretty much dead (definitely not as much as that frog. ). Minutes later after the dog left... ta-dam, it gets up and starts walking.

I had a deer wander out in front of me whilst driving Wednesday night, right after taking a friend out to pick up Wrath of the Lich King. Pretty sure it was a buck, looked like it had horns proper. Thankfully I was able to see it up ahead, and didn't panic. But sod me if it didn't just trot across the road all huffy, none of that speedy deer bounding for it.
Like only a hundred yards away from a suburb, too.

I can't really say that this is something strange that had happened *TO* me, but... I managed to make a character table for Faxanadu; the Japanese version! Considering that I don't understand or read Japanese, or recognize hiragana, this was quite a feat for me. I think I'm gonna dump *the whole script* now, and hand it over to adoru. X)

That's cool man, congrats!
In December 1996, after years of hardcore skateboarding, I broke my right ankle doing an easy trick. It required surgery, and now I have three screws in my right foot.
In April 1997, a few weeks after getting back on my skateboard, I broke my left ankle doing an easy trick. I saw the same doctor, it required more surgery, and now I have three screws in my left foot.
Though I still get back on my board from time to time, these incidents took the hardcore skater out of me. But man, there was a time when nothing was impossible, I miss those days.

GMF, its cool to hear you were really into skateing for a while. I gave up on the hobby ages ago, but still use my board to get to the corner store.

The strangest thing that happend to me was about 2 years ago during the beginning of my sophmore year in highschool, It was lunch and at that school they don't really mind if you use handhrld game systems during school as long as you only use it during lunch. anyway i was playing Tales of phantasia, and some random guy walks over to where my friends and i are standing and says. " holy crap, a girl playing a video game!!" then he kind of just stood there for a few more seconds and walked away. it really was strange at the time.. and in a way, kind of insulting. yeah.... thats pretty much it...

You would've made a cool sister. Both of mine hate games, they don't even understand my enjoyment of video game music (which is as refined and as tasteful as classical music, might I add) and insist on insulting my hobbies. Damn stereotypes.

Damn stereotypes. lol awesome!! people who hate games, in my opinion, usually have never tried them or usually just suck at them so they feel the need to insult the games or hobbies that people have. at least thats the way its been for me, for the last 11 years of my life. though my brother only insults them just as a joke, and my sister just plain likes games like me.
